Overall - the experience was not anything positive. For background - the sofa & love seat set remained in an vacant air conditioned apartment for 14 months. There they looked fine from a distance - unused. When our tenant did not like to rent furnished apartment we moved them into our home and used for about 6 months. From the initial use the sofa and love seat (remember they were sold as 'leather') began to deteriorate. Tears and 'peeling off" (looking like 'dried glue') appeared over the seat cushions. The arm rest on the sofa worn & appeared very ugly. I believe that furniture is a supposed to offer many years of use - especially leather goods . We contacted Furniture World, the agent's response gave us an array of reasons ranging from sun exposure, to being blown by air conditioning etc. Despite the fact that they were not initially used, he adds that since the purchase date was over one year ago from the complaint, he suggested only a $200 credit towards the purchase of other furniture from the store. (recall I spent $2,300 in the store) The gentleman stoically holds his claim that the sofa and love seat is made of leather. I would at least like to have them replaced with a fabric set (since we differ on what constitutes 'leather') Now we're at a stalemate. In one word we'd describe our business with Furniture World as disappointing.
