First Impressions was wonderful. I was looking for a door pull that was larger than standard door pulls for bathroom and kitchen cabinet doors but smaller than the typical large handleset for an entry way door and appropriate for an interior bedroom closet door. This company makes custom door pulls and knobs of every imaginable size, type, and finish. They typically do very large handles for entry doors and commercial companies, but they were very kind when I contacted them for a door handle that was perfect for my needs. They do not sell directly to the public so they put me in contact with one of their local Florida retail distributors, Miller's Elegant in Boca Raton. Both companies were outstanding. They contacted me by phone promptly, followed up with e-mail to get my information. When I was unsure of exactly which finish I wanted, they sent me small samples of the two finishes so I could see exactly what I would get -- custom orders are non-returnable. I faxed Miller's a credit card authorization for the amount, and my pulls arrived in just a few days. They are perfect, just as shown on the website. You could not ask for better more personal and responsive customer service than I received from these two companies.
