You Can?t Find a More Crooked Moving Company If You Tried Do not hire this company for your move. They are not who they say they are and are the biggest scammers in the industry. I hired Finest Fellas Moving Company for my recent move. I worked with Chase who gave me a lowball estimate on the weight to get my business. He figured that I would need 75 boxes, and my weight would be 7,000 pounds after a live video call where I showed him the contents of my entire home, including all closets. They love to brag how they?re family owned and NOT brokers. This is a lie. After paying a non-refundable deposit I learned that they brokered my move to some fly-by-night crew. When they arrived on moving day I was informed that I had over 100 boxes, and not the 75 that the estimate listed. I told him that Chase came up with that number, not me. Buyers Beware!!! Finest Fellas Moving and Storage, LLC has not acted in good faith in adherence to their service contract/agreement as it relates to claims for missing and damaged items. I have contacted the Founder directly, on numerous occasions, in an attempt to resolve this matter but he has ignored my attempts for resolution. After my second claim request was submitted by the Founder to their customer service on June 22, 2023, the moving service has failed to make any response and take any action. It has been three months since my initial claim was submitted. Despite storage being represented as part of their business, they only provide assistance with renting storage space by reserving a unit for their customers who are responsible for payment to store their property and keys once the items are stored. This company does not provide any overnight, short-term, or long-term storage facilities. - I relied on their expertise to acquire a storage unit large enough to house my property. In return, they secured an insufficient 10'x15' storage unit which was only large enough to store about half of my shipment, so I had to purchase another 10'x15' for the rest of my property. My storage bill would have been considerably less than the $773.00 I paid, if my shipment was accurately assessed and one 10'x25' unit was reserved. This company placed me in an unfavorable position of having to pay two separate storage unit fees for an entire month (30-day rental), when I only needed storage for two days. - Several items of property were damaged when the movers stacked and packed the storage units and others due to improper packing/wrapping and safeguards. These items were not damaged prior to storage and the damage was clearly visible during delivery and setup. - The movers stacked and left two charts with my personal property, unattended and unsecured, at the front entrance of the storage facility after they had loaded and locked the truck. They were about to drive out of the parking lot before I frustratingly brought the matter to their attention. Had I not rechecked one of my storage units, my property would have been intentionally left unsecured and available for anyone to take while we delivered the first shipment to my new residence. The movers had to make two trips to my residence because their truck, used on that particular day, was much smaller than the one used during the initial pickup. Based on my personal experience, I believe this company has exhibited unprofessional and unethical business practices which reflects very poorly on their business.
