EMERGENCY AC SERVICES

I had them install the units originally in 2006 and called them to come back out and service the units because they were not working properly.  They came out at 3:30 in the afternoon, looked at the three A/C units I owned and said to clean the units would cost $2,925.00.  Because the heat was so bad, I went ahead and hired them.  They said they would be back the next day, but they never showed up.  A friend of mine staying at my home called them on Friday and told them to come out.  They sent some workers and they said the units were working fine.  When I came back home from a trip a few days later, the house was still as hot as I had left it.  I had a friend stay in the home while I was gone and she told me they didn't do any work on the units while I was gone, only showing up to say the unit was working fine.  I called them and they did refund an amount of $2,455.00 leaving a charge of $470.00.  They did not give a clear explanation of what the $470 charge was for.  I had a service contract with them after they installed the units and they never came out to service the units in the last five years.  I had to have another company come back out and make the repairs.  When he left the unit was working fine and cooling the home.  Emergency AC Services is now barred from my condo because of the mismanagement of services.

Overall service was 'acceptable'. Estimators were professional and prompt, knowledgable and thorough. 2-week away appointment was scheduled. They called and cancelled the original appt. on the day of the appointment, but came for an evening installation the following day to accomodate my schedule. Installers were a bit ''rough around the edges'' (not clean OR neat, more like messy and about to go for a cheap beer), but prompt and competent. The work was done well, though not quite as 'neatly' as I had hoped (new wiring/plumbing not installed neatly). Both units are installed properly, however, and they work as expected.

I AM NOT REAL HAPPY WITH EMERGENCY A/C SERVICES. I ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AND CHECK MY UNIT BECAUSE IT WAS BLOWING OUT COLD AIR WHEN IT WAS ON HEAT. THEY CAME OUT AND PUT A HOLE IN THE TOP OF MY SYSTEM WHICH I DID NOT LIKE, BUT THEY SAID THAT'S HOW THEY CHECK IT.

THEY ARE CROOKS. I PAID $528 AFTER I PAID $400 TO FIX WHAT THEY BROKE. THEY WON'T REFUND MY MONEY. THEY DID NOTHING BUT CAUSE TROUBLE FOR ME. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, AND I AM UPSET.
