Dalio Tile was recommended by my contractor. The owner, Jean Pierre, came out to review the job and give me an estimate. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He brought to my attention various issues that needed to be taken into account since this room had been a garage and had a concrete floor that was slightly pitched and not totally level. Since the tiles that I chose were long planks, we wanted to make sure that the tiles would lay flush and not show any warps that can sometimes occur in long tiles. Jean-Pierre explained why it was best not to put a vapor barrier on top of the concrete floor, as I had considered doing. He explained why he recommended using a mixture of both sanded and un-sanded grout for my installation. I had complete confident that the job would be done right. The workmen who leveled the floor and laid the tile did a very good job. A couple of minor issues that came up were immediately addressed and resolved. I could have had the installation done for less with other installers, but I wanted to make sure that it was done right and to my high standards, and I was very pleased!
