When we arrived at the real estate office, we were seated immediately at the agent's desk where we waited 10 minutes for her to arrive. When she arrived, she did not introduce herself to us. She began searching properties on the computer system based on our criteria but did not seem very comfortable using the computer or knowledgeable about the properties listed there. For example, when we asked questions about the floors, price, etc, she would spend some time squinting at the screen to find the information. Sometimes I could spot the answer to the question before she could. My boyfriend even showed her where to click. She preferred using listings previously printed for another couple whose criteria was different from ours. Three times during our meeting, she interrupted us to make personal phone calls. After we explained our current apartment and moving situation to her in detail she told us that she did not want to waste her time with us because people in our situation usually just want to see what's out there but don't rent from her. Therefore, she was only willing to show us one, maybe two of the places we saw listed. She told us she would take us to one of the places and if someone called from another we would go there. On our way, she u-turned and took us to a completely different place that we had not discussed. Overall, we thought she was rude and unprofessional. We left immediately and decided not to rent from her or any other agents at that office.
