Bass United Fire and Security Systems will meet all of your fire and security system needs.  They were very professional with the installation of our fire alarm systems, during the 1980's at Georgian Court Apts., Inc., Ft. Lauderdale.  Their equipment and alarm systems are state of the art .  If you want the best, give them a call.  Their main office is located in Pompano Beach, with another location in Palm Beach.  Great products and wonderful service.

For the first 15 years I used them, I thought they were top notch and would have recommended them highly. Unfortunately, about 2 years ago or so, I needed installation upgrade and maintenance. Could not get a call back from the service rep or the owner for a long time. When the service rep finally came out, he never followed up to provide me with information re service needed, estimates, etc. Tried many times to call him without response. There was a period of 2 days when the fire alarm malfunctioned. I didn't have the number to contact the emergency service, and Bass could not provide it. I had several fire engine visits, each of which resulted in a fine because I could not cancel the call. When I finally reached a service rep (at night, after regular business hours) and explained the situation, he responded with, "That's my problem how?" When I told him I was a Bass customer, he at first refused to believe me. The company apparently is now much more interested in commercial installation than residential. The service rep came, and I have to say he was one of the rudest people ever. When I told this to the sales rep, his only response was that the service rep was "one of a kind." My summary is that if you enjoy not receiving call backs, having service reps be surly and insulting, and you are a large customer, this may be your company. If you are looking for courtesy, timely response, and residential service, I would avoid this company at all costs.

These guys always call me before coming and actually remind me of their visit. They re price is average. I like that they know the building and equipment that we have installed. I don t like questions and I appreciate that they don t ask me anything that they should already know.
