BARRY'S BLINDS LLC

It started out fine. However, one week after installation, one vertical slat broke and fell. Barry's replaced it about a week later. In May, another slat fell and broke, and in June, yet another. I replaced these last two myself with some of the old slats because I did not have time to schedule a service call. Yesterday, one of the rods broke! I specifically ordered heavy-duty, commercial grade rods because I did not want to deal with slats cracking and falling, and certainly not a rod falling apart. They claim to have installed the "best rod available." This is all a lie. They only have one rod. I am livid. I don't know if I can get my money back because they threw away my old rods!

My family's apartment in Florida had severe damage and needed everything before it could be rented for the season. With my young children in tow, I planned to go to Florida for nine days to get all the finishing touches completed, including window treatments for our very exposed first floor unit. Knowing I had a very small window in which to work, I phoned Barry before leaving for Florida, asked if he might be able to fabricate window treatments for me in a week (he said he thought he could) and we made an appointment for the first morning (a Saturday no less) we were there. His representative was knowledgeable, figured out all the challenges and left that day with an order. However, within 24 hours, I had changed my mind and called him back to say I wanted something different. He returned with samples and reordered the blinds. Happily, they still arrived by the end of the week. His products are of very high quality and look beautiful. The apartment was rented in four days!
