Let's say my job was a bit more work than anticipated. Where the flat and tile roofs met, the valley was horrible. There was not a single spot that didn't need attention. As I had asked, Anthony provided before and after pictures. The roof was cleaned, prepped, repaired, sealed, rubberized, and painted. Every two years they come out and clean my roof. They routinely check with me and I have been leak free now for 5 years. I still have five years left on my warranty, but I'm fairly sure it will last well beyond that.
Description of Work: Anthony and his team did an excellent job of restoring a very old roof. This was done during the housing boom. I had bought my house in 2004 and it was already 29 years old. At 32, I had no choice, had to do something. At the time, it was about $40K to replace a roof on the size of a place like mine. I called after researching the company on www.theroofstore.net and I was impressed. When Anthony (the owner) and I spoke, I explained the situation, my needs, and my concerns. A few days later I had a proposal in hand, while other companies failed to come out, or wouldn't even return my calls. After discussing the proposal, I've added replacement of my flat roof as well, and gave him 1/3 down. My job consisted of a 30 square roof (3000 square feet) of tile roof that was in OK shape, but needed some TLC. The flat roof on the back of the building was about 500 square feet. The leaks (existing) were all repaired and the tiles sealed together. The roof was then coated with the original liquid applied rubber roof shield. I was given samples before the job. It's kind of like a 1/8 showercap on the entire building. The flat roofs were done in a black version of the coating with a mesh underlayment, making it very durable. I recently contacted All Surfaces for a new project, where I'm adding onto the building, so I'll need a new roof on the addition and a tie in to the existing roof they restored. Nice deal, 1/3 the cost of a new roof, and since I plan to be here a while, every year I save more and more by not having to replace in the first place.
