"As I have reviewed my records I recall the initial consultation we had before your appointment. We had discussed a rinse you had put on your hair and you asked me if I washed you hair would the rinse come out and I replied yes it would. I made a suggestion that I could apply a demi-permanent color for you that would last longer. We decided together when you came if for your appointment we would not wash you hair allowing your rinse to last longer. However we did spend as much time as needed to give you a wonderful haircut. I believe you were under some pressure that day because you roof was being replaced. I appreciated you calling back later in the day to tell me “my husband told me this is the best haircut he has seen on me”. As far as our prices we do not ala carte our services in our salon. Our prices were at that time listed on our website. We are not a rural salon and our clients from Europe and the North East recognize our prices reflect our attention to detail. Agape’ Salon has been in business for 20 yrs now. We have a good honest reputation in our community. We strive to give our clients who come to us from all over the world the best service we can. We work and train long and hard, using the best and safest products we can find in the world. A reputation is hard to build, it takes time and years, we work late hours,holidays and come in to love on our clients as they go through all the trials of life. We care and are emphatic to all they go through. It just doesn’t seem right when you work that hard and long to be criticized when the whole story is not told in a paragraph through a review. You lose potential business and never recover those clients. We’ve been around long before the review process began even before the internet. Companies now make millions of dollars and are on the stock exchange because business people like ourselves work to establish respect in our cities. Yes there are scammers our there however there must be enough honest people out there in business to allow the review company’s to go public. Perhaps they will begin to offer stock to those of us who have allowed our businesses to be examined and scrutinized as a thank you for the millions in revenue they take in every year. My staff over the years are young kids, students and single moms who come into our environment to be given a shot at making a living. We nurture and care for them as we teach them and in return, they establish themselves. I hope those that read this begin to think about every word they say on the internet, its tough our there. America is striving to get back on its feet and the small business owners are trying to provide the services we can as costs continue to rise, especially in south Florida."

Myself and the 3 other stylists in the salon do our best to give our clients a courtesy call to inform them we are running behind and adjust the schedule accordingly. Your appointment was for a consultation, which I booked a 1/2 hour for. When we spoke on the phone, I let you know I wouldn't have time in my schedule the day of our consultation to do anything with your hair. During our consultation, some of which you shared with me was: you were new to the area, unhappy with the color from the previous hairstylist, hair too gold/brassy, you like being blonde and have been for quite awhile, your fiancé would like you to be brunette. You showed me photos of different levels and tones of brunette's, from chocolate brown to "Kadashian" black. You also asked if I would have time to at least tone the gold out of your hair. From this I determined a few things: you didn't like what your hair looked like, you weren't sure what level/tone brunette you wanted to be(if at all) and I had no time to fix anything that day. I agree our consultation was unlike most I have had before. However, even if it had been different, there was still no time in my schedule that day to do anything. My first available was at least a week away and you clearly did not want to wait that long. I do not pretend to think I can make everyone happy. I am thankful there are different hairstylists for different people. How boring life would be if we were all the same. I am glad you found Chris to do your hair and can now establish him as your new hairstylist.
