A PLUS PRESSURE CLEANING

Basic pressure cleaning went well... or so I thought. I noticed a leak above our bedroom a few months afterward and called a roofing company (Bently Roofing in Margate rated A by Angie's) to inspect. He found close to 40 broken tiles (not just cracked). He took photos. I was shocked as no one has been on the roof since the home was inspected prior to buying it and no one has been on the roof since the cleaning. The roofer said that the broken tiles were recent with many pieces just lying next to the tile. Repair estimated at $700. A sharing of cost would have been agreeable to me. I called APLUS to see if they would accept any responsibility for the broken tiles. They said that they don't break tiles or at least that many tiles and that they do not take responsibility and that I should have inspected before and after to show proof. It's a 2 story home and I don't get up on the roof. Unfortunately, before I noticed the leak (caused by one of the broken tiles for sure as I have photo), I referred APLUS to 2 other friends that had them do their roofs. Sure hope they don't have the same problem. In the future, I will spend a little more to have a roofing company clean my roof as they should be a little more responsible and if they break a tile they are equipped to fix it. If you use them (or anyone else for that matter) have them take photos of their complete job before leaving. No surprises!
