He came on a Sunday which was good. He seemed to have fixed the problems BUT he totally missed finding the source. The next?s day light bulbs were blowing out. I had to hire a different electrician who pinpointed the source and fixed everything. It was a waste of $650. He didn?t supply a proper invoice, instead he texted me a picture of his estimate letter.

The electrician, Gilnes, was excellent. He was courteous, friendly, competent and very thorough. Gilnes listened to our concerns and did an outstanding job installing 3 fluorescent light strips. He treated our home with great care and cleaned up after himself. Gilnes displayed a strong customer satisfaction attitude and provided an overall outstanding electrical service experience. We highly recommend Gilnes for your electrical needs!

I dealt with Bernard. He fixed the wiring in my investment property. It was a mess but he was able to figure it out. He also installed recessed lighting. The whole job took 2 days and I get the price was fair. I was working with Mr. Electric prior to hiring these guys and they spent a day trying to access the situation, cut a hole in my ceiling and said they would come back when I was ready to install my lighting and finish is. They then cancelled 3 appointments the day of each appointment, wasting an excessive amount of my time. And they were paid close to $400 to do no actual work. I m relieved Bernard handled it. Totally recommend!

Bernard was awesome to work with. He was able to work around my schedule. He came promptly and it didn t take him long to figure out the issue. And the issue wasn t even what I expected him to be able to find, but he was able to assist me in solving the issue and the price was beyond reasonable. HomeAdvisor, You must remove Bernard at United Electrical Contractors from your list of reliable electricians. He called me Wed, Sept 3, and said he would come to my townhouse on Friday, Sept 5, at 9:00 am to fix the lights in my kitchen. He was a No Show, and he wouldn't even answer any of my several phone calls. Obviously, he is not reliable and reflects badly on HomeAdvisor. In my opinion, he doesn't deserve even one star. If I don't see this review with his list of favorable reviews, then I'll know these reviews don't truly reflect all of his customers' experiences.
