I called Ernie to repair a 28yr old intercom system. He was honest and told me it was out of date. I agreed to update it with a new system. Within days it was installed.He called ahead and was on time. Very neat and professional. Will use him for my alarm.

Ernie is professional and very knowledgeable about intercom systems.  The previous owners of my home disconnected all the wires to the system when it wasn't working.  The system is almost 20 years old and has been discontinued, but I just wanted to have it repaired knowing that it's old technology with probably not the greatest sound.  Ernie gave me options for a future upgrade but did not pressure me to spend the money that I currently did not want to spend.  Instead he was honest and let me know he would do his best to get my intercom system working.  Ernie was able to reconnect the system, get it working, and installed a new doorbell unit.  I am highly satisfied with his work and would definitely recommend anyone looking for an honest, reliable, reasonably priced contractor in this line of work to give him a call.

How about same day service!!! Ernie answered my call and asked a great question, "do you know what you're getting into?" He was incredible about explaining how simple to how extensive my repair could get before asking if I was sure about proceeding. It wasn't a condescending tone at all. It was like having your best friend, who does this for a living, sit you down and lay it all out for you. I could not have felt more comfortable. 
He arrived right when he said he would. Asked the required questions. Looked over the entire system and determined I could fortunately get by with a minor repair. However, down the line I may have to invest in an upgrade since my model is no long made or supported by the manufacturer. He left me with a quote on what to expect if I needed to go down that route. Ernie also does home security. He did not try and upsell that service to me until I asked. It was such a comfortable exchange. It really felt like a friend came over to help out.
I would call on Ernie again, and I would also recommend his company to everyone who asks.
