TruGreen Lawn Care - 5100

They killed all of my lawn. Everything died. All that lived were the weeds and sand spurs. Do not use them. They are a rip off. They come out, get on their truck and two minutes later they're done. How can they spray my entire lawn in two minutes? They try to sell you on lawn aeration which is absolutely unnecessary.

2 months go by and the yard looks the same if not worse. They charged over $250 and now they say it is not a fungus it's pet traffic. They refuse to refund anything. They lied to intially get our business and charged us more than double the agreed price with zero results.

The lawn looked terrible. The folks that deliver the service never made suggestions to make it better. I finally cancelled the service then got a lot of pressure to keep the service at a lower price. Not worth it even if free.

We've used them for a couple of years. I pay $40 for monthly service.

I would use them again.

True Green applied the fertilizer and weed control but did not apply pesticide to kill chinch bugs. So last month they applied pesticide to control chinch bugs (I have no sign of chinch bugs) and charged me an additional monthly charge, with out my approval, to control the unforeseen chinch bugs. When I called to complain I was told True green does not apply pest control in less I pay double. True Green bough out Scotts Service a few years ago and fail to tell me they were not performing the same service as Scotts. I canceled the service.

Under contract as needed for fertilizing and the whole service for the lawn.? If your not happy with what they did they will come back and redo it.

It?s okay. I wouldn?t say it?s any better than okay. It?s real expensive, I think. I paid by the year or something like that. They?re doing trees, I mean, it would be hard for me to pin point right off the top of my head. I think I signed up with them for a year and then I am going to reevaluate when my contract runs out. It's uncertain if I will use them again. I mean right now that really is doubtful. It could change; you?re supposed to take care of my yard for the rest of the year. So we?ll wait and see, I guess.

They are good, quick and their billing is easy.

They do an excellent job in keeping our lawn looking good.

It's simply good and I already had 2 experiences with them and it's not a lot data that they shared with me. They're okay so far.

They arrived with 4 people: a lady who did a great job; the owner who did an OK job and some damage; a 20 something fellow who was did little except dusting; and a 6 year old who scuffed her feet as she walked on the new floor and at times sat with her feet on the furniture.
They did not clean the rooms upstairs in the loft.  The empty refrigerator was cleaned except for the freezer drawer.  The walls and cabinets were well dusted and they helped remove the painters tape we used to seal everything.  I had to stop him from using a wood floor cleaner that would leave residue on our new floors and insisted he use our product.  
The damage they caused was very upsetting. The owner removed our kitchen clock from a box on the floor in the bedroom and installed the battery.  This broke the clock mechanism because the hands were bent.  I do not understand why he would even touch that clock and I still have not been able to find a replacement clock mechanism that will fit.  He would not tell me directly that he broke it, but he did tell my wife.  
We also discovered that the hook on the back of the bedroom door was broken, but it was easy to replace it.

after a 2 year contract for monthly treatments, I have a cinch bug and grub worm infestation that has destroyed my lawn.  I think they were spraying cool aid the whole time.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

It went fine. I am not hiring them again because I saw other lawns in the area that have been treated by Scotts for a long time and no real progress. I looked them up on Angies List, saw the bad reviews and called to cancel follow on service. I hired these guys through a neighborhood solicitor. I should have known better. They did not do anything personally to me, but based on my interaction and review with others in my neighborhood about them I decided to not got with them again. The rep was professional, but at the end of the day, the lawns speak for themselves.

They started out okay then I guess they got a new and younger crew. I remember calling them because I had caterpillars on some of my plants and I watched them and they came out. They sprayed in the backyard but they did not spray the caterpillars. The caterpillars were on the side of the house. They went to the back and sprayed one area and left. I called them and told them that they did not do their job so I fired them.
