The owner, Diego, responded immediately and gave me a quote the same day. Randy, who created the wine gate, was friendly, professional, polite and most of all punctual. Finished work ahead of schedule. I️ would definitely recommend this team again. Thank you guys!

overall the experience was good. It took a couple of weeks longer than originally quoted, but not unreasonable. The gates did not have any way of locking the cane in place but, they fixed that problem within a day. I am pleased with them and would do business with them in a heart beat.

The rubber wheel disintegrated on our wrought iron gate that was custom made for us by Diego five years ago.  This wheel is attached to a spring action iron post that is welded to the gate.  I called Diego and asked him to give me a quote on replacing this spring action wheel.  He quoted me $145.00 for the wheel.  I asked him to order it and install it.  He called me the next week and said that it was in so we set a time for him to come and install it.  He showed up and propped the gate up for repair.  He then left and told me that he had to go get something.  When he returned thirty minutes later, his assistant installed a $5.00 wheel from the Harbor Freight that is just up the road.  They did  not install the $145.00 spring action wheel that I approved.  He handed my husband a bill for $155.15.  When we questioned why he was charging us that much for a $5.00 wheel, he told us that they had decided that the wheel installed would work better and that that's what I approved.  I argued with him because this was not what I had approved.  He was defiant and refused to lower the price or put the correct wheel on the gate.  I paid him to avoid future run ins with him and told him that I would never do business with him again.  I told him that he had just cheated us.

An extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. I visited Diego at his business address in plant city and toured the grounds. That in and off itself was a great experience. Diego's property includes hundreds of examples of wrought iron and fountains, all custom and very beautiful. A nice gem with old world charm. Diego sat with me and discussed the work. He gave me multiple suggestions and patiently explained the various choices I had to integrate the wrought iron tastefully. Once we decided on a pattern for the fence we then selected a gate. I was lucky enough to find the perfect gate in his current inventory which precluded having one custom made and also saved me a significant amount of money. Diego asked for a 50% deposit and told me that his assistant Randy would be out to do the actual measurements in 2 weeks. I was also told that the gate and fencing would be ready in approx 6 weeks. All timelines were met and Randy arrived with the fencing and gate at the 6 week mark. He spent 4 hours at my home and custom fit everything together and ensured that everything was perfect. I happy to say that he did a great job. The gate hangs exactly plumb and swings as if it were on ball bearings. This is impressive being that it weighs approx 200lbs. This was a very positive experience with Diego and Randy providing "old school" integrity and craftsmanship. Important to note that I called Diego on his cell 5 or 6 times during the 6 week wait to adjust the specifications and confirm delivery. He picked up on the 2nd or 3rd ring each time. Try and find that level of service in today's world!
