Marty's Furniture Refinishing & Restoration

This is my second review. I tried to revise my first review but I guess this site does not allow edits. I will tell you Marty's Furniture Restoration did an amazing job restoring a very old dresser that had some unforeseen damage. They took their time to do it right. I did receive a call on the progress on my dresser after my first review. While I was nervous about the challenge of getting a hold of Marty's, They came through and I have a beautifully restored dresser that will last another 100 years. I do wish I could post a picture to show how amazing it came out.

I think they are a very nice company and try their hardest to do a good job. Everything was great, except the phone service was not punctual and they did not call back right away after a message was left. If they invested in a better answering service and had a more rapid response to customers I think they would be even more awesome.

Told me exactly what the problem was on the phone. It was simply not level. Leveled the armoire, and everything is operating properly. Very impressed with his customer service. Never attempted to make an unnecessary service visit. Simply told me how to fix it on the phone and at zero cost. How many service providers do something like this these days? Not many. Of course, I would use his services again!

Marty was great!! He repaired our china closet and entertainment center. Our cats have not been kind to our furniture and Marty made the problems disappear. I highly recommend him and will certainly use him in the future as needed.

Marty was an expert in the art of furniture repair. Our moving company sent Marty to us after having numerous pieces of furniture needing repair. Most items look almost if not brand new.

I called Marty yesterday and he responded that same afternoon. He was friendly, professional, and repaired the sofa to a better quality than the manufacturer made the sofa...

They are fabulous. There quality and courtesy were excellent. They kept in good touch with me. Their attitude was excellent. They were great and took pride in their work. They didn't use the dipping system, they did everything by hand.

We had purchased an extention table from Crate and Barrel but the leaf was slightly larger than the table itself and didn't sit flush with the table top in one corner. Crate and Barrel contracted this company to come out and do the repair. Mr. Wallace was able to repair and refinish the table to nearly perfect condition. I found Mr. Wallace to be not only very knowledgeable about repairing the table and matching the color but he was also very courteous and professional. I am glad to have met him and would hire him on my own to do other wood refinishing and repairs.
