About us
Captain Electrix, Inc. is semi retired. I no longer look for work east of Lakeland, FL or east or south of Mulberry, FL. Estimates are mostly free, but a minimum travel charge may be applied. I no longer do room additions, or remodeling in kitchens or bathrooms. I don't work on mobile homes. If you are buying or selling a home, I do repair electrical work that Home Inspectors required done. Note on Generators. At this time we only offer electrical connection hookup for fixed and stand alone generators. We do not sell or service power generators.

Was very patient and good-humored about missing parts on our end for our exterior lighting repair job (fix broken light post and house light). Once we had everything in place he got the job done quickly and professionally in a few hours. Pricing was very fair as well. We definitely recommend Captain Electrix.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Jim is on time, extremely professional, has excellent communication, gets the job done on time and at budget. I contacted several other electricians for installation of a new breaker box. His estimate was much lower for the exact same work. I would recommend you call Jim and he will get it done. He makes you feel like you are his only customer.

Jim is a very experienced electrician. He arrived 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time and waited for me to come home from work at 4 pm. He worked efficiently and fixed both of my light fixtures in a timely manner. The fee was reasonable and exactly what we agreed upon before the scheduled appointment. He also provided me some excellent advice as of what to do with my light fixtures in the future. He is very professional and friendly. I will definitely call him for any of my home's electrical issues from now on.

I called Jim Saturday morning around 11:15, because the other company I hired to come that afternoon cancelled my appointment at the last minute. Jim was at my house by 1:00 on a Saturday with no extra service charge. I would definitely recommend him, and would definitely use him again in the future. Awesome customer service!

We called Captain Electrix on a Saturday afternoon for an emergency repair and Jim was able to come out promptly. He was diligent in finding the cause of our issue and not just repairing it. Mr.Harden came out to fixed a problem we had concerning a short in the wiring.He found it at once.lighting had run in and damaged a plug.The other man left me hanging.I was upset and scared.until Mr.Harden fixed it.I would call him in a minute if I needed Electric work
