The contractor was on time every day. He completed the task in a timely manner. The job was professionally done. He has a vast knowledge of construction and knows all the building codes. He did my electric, HVAC, sheetrock and more. He laid out on a computer my kitchen cabinets. I would hire him again.

We contracted with the owner of Deforest Construction to do a complete remodel of the main level of our 4,200 sf home, which included a new kitchen (new island, new appliances, and changes to the HVAC).  A new family room, which included a new fireplace, new hardwood flooring throughout, changes to electrical/lighting, and a new bathroom.   Walls that were not plumb were also corrected to accommodate a soft-close barn door to the laundry room.  We also had them fix some perimeter drain problems around the foundation to ensure water would properly drain away from the house.  The work was done with attention to detail, a commitment to quality and in a matter that complied with IRC building codes.  We were kept informed throughout the entire construction process.  If you are looking for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work, we highly recommend Deforest Construction.  I rarely provide 5 star reviews – they truly deserve one!
