I tried WOW because BrightHouse continues to increase the bill at every chance.  WOW offered a little better system at about 70% of the BrightHouse cost.
I was wrong! But I tried hard to make the WOW service work.
Here are my reasons.
1.     Wow missed the first install appointment costing me several hours of time and inconvenience.
2.     Wow installed and jumped from the Brighthouse box to the new Wow box and used the old Brighthouse
wires resulting in an inferior signal for the first installation.
3.     Wow installed properly on the third visit only after enlisting the Executive Response Team
but OnDemand never worked like a channel and my wife refuses to be a technician
to see Bill Maher that she is paying $20 a month for.
4.     There have been several other attempts to make OnDemand Work and as of last week I still could
not access past shows of Bill Maher so we never got what we paid for as
OnDemand is not OnDemand.  You may want to look at the simple workings of your competitors for how to do this.  For example, at Brighthouse you just tap in a channel number for the various ?HBO Features?.
5.   The representative that I talked to in early December had me at $122.99 per month plus fees and taxes
that she estimated would be about $10 per month or a total of $133.00 for the
month which I thought was really good.
After the install I realized she had not included HBO which is $20 so now I expected a total of $$153.  When I
was billed you requested $173.00 per month ? Way out of my budget!
6.   There have been numerous times I have had to reboot the ?Ultra? box indicating to me you either
have tech problems or problem boxes. Again my wife refuses to be a technician and actually so do I.
7.     I had to buy a $140.00 router because your signals were quite weak even with the extenders you tried
to use.  These were given back to your lead tech David Croom Jr.
By the way, I really liked David and he worked really hard to satisfy our needs but just was not able to deliver.
Now I have spent hours - probably over 5 hours easy on the phone trying to get them to stop billing me for $53.95.  This has been going on since February8th.
I recommend never doing business with this company!

The technicians are always prompt and courteous. They seem genuinely concerned but...several hours after they leave, the same problems reappear. I think this past month, we initiated four service calls always for internet speed and poor or nonexistent phone service.
The problems seem 'fixed' when they leave but reappear often within hours of their departure...over and over and over again.
We simply have to find another provider. My son takes timed quizzes for online university courses. Imagine what the slowed internet does to his grades. My husband is searching for a job and has had PHONE interviews that were an exercise in futility due to static or simply the phone line going dead. We pay for this service. I can't get over these recurring problems.

I was pleasantly suprised. I found that the TV picture for HD content was significantly clearer. When I asked about that they said that they didnt compress HD content like the competition did. Not sure what that means but the picture was much clearer. Their internet service was listed as 7Megs, while the competitions service I received was 20Megs, and their 7 consistantly outperformed their 20Meg. In running speed tests the competition usually delivered only 3 to 5Meg of the 20 promised. Knology delivered 7 to 10 meg always. Sure there are fewer channels for cable but they have everything I watch and the Video on Demand content they competition provided was limited and expensive so I really dont miss that either. Oh, and their phone doesnt drop out like the competitions did. A big thumbs up for Knology.

HAVE EXCELLENT CABLE SERVICE BUT OUR INTERNET HAS BEEN SOMEWHAT TROUBLESOME. WE HAVE THE SLOWER SPEED, BUT THE PROBLEMS WE'VE HAD HAVE BEEN BECAUSE OF OUR CONNECTION OR THE AMOUNT OF USERS AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.
