BEWARE. My job is not completed and after weeks of trying to get Dale to come back out and him not showing for appointments, likely because he's fully paid. I asked them to (1) clean up my palm trees and (2) ensure none were touching my house. As shown in the pictures here there are many trees still scraping my house. I've left voicemails, texted, and made appointments with Dale for them to come back out many times but he never shows up or calls to let me know he won't be here. They showed up to do the work on a day I wasn't home but assured me if they missed anything they would come back and complete it - unfortunately that wasn't true. I'm bummed as they did great work on the items they completed but now I have to hire someone else to complete the job I already paid them to do. The crew and Kevin (the son) was great but Dale is the main contact and won't come fix the job.

Crew did outstanding work. Paid close attention to detail and their cleanup was just awesome. Even cleaned the pine needles off of our trampoline. Happy kids now.. Highly recommended.

Trees by Kevin did a great removing an old oak tree from my back yard. After receiving more 6 quotes we decided to go with trees by Kevin because from the start they provided us with great customer service. Dale came out to give us our quote explained everything in detailed and exactly how they would do it. The Job was completed over 2 days the crew was very nice and hardworking and they did an amazing job cleaning up the leaves and branches, my yard was left spotless. I was very impressed and highly recommend them.

Their work was highly efficient and professional, with impeccable clean-up afterwards. The trees are much healthier and we are very pleased.

They were working on the house across the street and we asked for the palm to be trimmed since they were here, they did a fantastic job with the work across the street and would for sure call them for any work in the rest of the yard. They have cleaned up our yard from the little bit of debris, they have done a great job on the yard across the street. Ground up stumps and raked and really are leaving the neighborhood clean. They even cut me two huge pieces of the Camphor Tree trunk they took out across the street.

We have used Trees by Kevin Dyer for years, when they only had a pickup truck? They are prompt, efficient, reasonable and most important they are reliable. They clean up and rake and remove all debris. We have had them work outside our house even when we were not there. Coming home, we would have to check out to see if they had been there. Kevin and team were awesome.  They cleared the entire lot of trees leaving a few palms and plantings I wanted to keep.  All stumps that were able to be ground were taken care of.  They were extremely professional and courteous, did a great job cleaning up and disposed of all the tree waste.  These guys completed the job, taking down several large trees, trimming a few left over palms and clearing the property in a day.  Amazing.  Would highly recommend these guys for any tree work you have.

They removed the trees without a permit, even though they kept reassuring us that they had one. We found out that they never obtained one when we were fined by the city.   The city made us replant unwanted trees that ended up costing us more than what we had planned on. They also damaged our sidewalk which has not been repaired or replaced. We have sent a letter many times to them with no response.

They had an entire crew (8-10) men.  Had a wood chipper, stump grinder and 2-3 big trucks removing all excess.  Absolutely a great job, not a bit of anything left to clean up.  Can't believe anyone is this good.  Also, did two other neighbors while they were here - one major tree removal and some trimming($1500) and another smaller job with some trimming.

They removed my tree, cleaned up, and did the stump grinding. They actually ended up removing three trees for me. His estimate was right on point. He owns all of his own equipment, (mulcher, bucket truck, etc.) They are probably the most reasonable and hardest working guys in the area. I would highly recommend them to others. I also wanted to add that I called them on one day and they showed up the very next day to do the work! These guys are fantastic! Kevin, DJ, Eddie and Jessica all do stellar work and they don't stop!

The amount of work that their crew did is difficult to describe. This was 5 lots of tree-covered property that had not been well tended-to over the years. They cleaned up all the trees and removed several that were sickly or were growing too close to their neighbors.
The quality of the work that they did is easy to describe: it was excellent. The trees look sharp and clean. The property looks better than it ever has. The trees look healthy. Thank you!

They were prompt and did an excellent job of removing the Torpedoes (Pods) and trimming the Palm fronds. I definitely plan to use them again in 6 months when my trees need trimming again. They worked well as a team, cleaned up the area, were in and out in no time. I was extremely impressed and as I said, have every intention to use them again.

It could not have gone any better. The crew was on time, they were pleasant, they appear to really like their job and work as a team like all teams should work.
They were professional, neat and friendly. They were very concerned that I was getting what I wanted. Kevin KNOWS trees and how to care for them and how to prune them. In looking at the cost you might think it high...remember this was 8 Live Oaks very big very old and very valuable and the general clean up. They actually picked up little sticks. All trash was removed. I will never let anyone else touch my trees and my neighbors are all lining up to call them for work at their houses!

The crew was very professional. We have had other tree services do work in the past and they were good but these guys were GREAT! When they were finished, every last leaf and limb was gone. They paid special attention to the clean up after the job. I would highly recommend Trees by Kevin M. Dyer!

I had purchased a new home and there was a very large old oak tree with a major trunk leaning over the house. I called Dale Dyer and he responded immediately, came to look at the house the same day and took care of removing the dangerous trunk immediately. Kevin and his crew were amazing, worked extremely efficiently, cleaned up everything, even the gutters. The price was very fair, all of the team were so pleasant and friendly and they did a great job. At least one neighbor called for an estimate after watching them work. I would never use anyone else in the future.

When Dale
Dyer, (Kevin’s father) talks, he has something to say. This man is not just a salesperson, he is an
educated man. He had made an offer of one thousand to cut all four pine trees
in my yard, in the year 2012. I only had
one cut down. I was hesitant because it
seemed like a lot of money then. As of
May 2014, prices (and two other random estimates) have doubled. This man answered my call and at my door the
same day. He also made the suggestion to
have a previous stump ground if we were to sell our house. Yes, we have considered moving. A lawn
person had said it should go as well.
The pine
trees were also uplifting the concrete around the back of the house and
driveway. I will not miss the pine sap
dripping on our cars or the pine cones dropping on the roof. No more countless
days of looking at pine needles, cleaning off Lanai with a water hose. There were so many roots causing tripping
accidents. The maintenance was
overwhelming, and our house we loved became a depressing burden.
I almost
wanted to cancel, simply because I was nervous.
However, there is nothing like seeing the familiar big green truck that
has “Kevin Dyer” In big letters. The contact phone number is 727-557-4000, and yes, I would hire again. Happy
faces arrived in my yard and my fears melted away as Kevin’s brother (Dale)
told me to sit back and “enjoy the show”, and I did. Also, I did look up comments from the other
random estimates on Angie’s List, and I did not like what I reading from other
companies. What the reviews said was pretty close to the truth.

They swiftly
cut down these trees that were planted too close to the house and fence with no
damage to the house or fence. There was
the amazing “Martin” (I know I’m not spelling that correctly, however, have to
mention). He climbed so high on the
trees, and made it seem so easy to have nerves of steel. The limbs of the tree came off like
butter. There was amazing “Jessica” (the
stump grinder machine with huge round blade) had this huge machine follow her
like a dog. She then somehow maneuvered and executes the stumps with precision.
Kevin’s six men crew worked swiftly and skillfully, as they maneuvered the huge
logs. Like experienced Lumberjacks, they
carefully swung the heavy logs around the Lanai corner. You could feel the ground shake when the logs
fell, confirming to me it was the right thing to do before Hurricane season.
Toward the
end, I simply could not believe how well they cleaned up my yard, and put back the
fencing. I tried to chase them away, only to see them work harder. They treated
me like a queen. This was not feeling
like a chore, for me, this was like something really special and almost fun.
When my
husband came home from work, he couldn’t believe they had done so much! We are so happy we made this decision, and we
now look outside, and say, “Wow” over and over.
No more tripping on roots – they chopped roots with an ax! Yay! I am so happy and truly grateful to this
tree team. I am full of hope now. I am
looking forward to cleaning again, because now, I won’t have to do it over and
over. It is such a relief to have trees
and stumps gone. If you hire them, you
can feel at ease. Trees by Kevin M. Dyer made my day. As Jessica said, “No worries”.

As always, Kevin and team were great. The only mishaps occurred because I wasn't home to supervise and some of my prize seedlings were mistakenly dug up/swept up with the debris. But for honesty, thoughtfulness, fair pricing and all around excellent, Kevin and his crew are the best of all.

1. Dale provided the initial estimate. Dale arrived shortly after Kevin and his crew on the service day. Kevin and his crew arrived promptly on the date and time agreed to,in spite of rainy weather that we were experiencing at the time. It was amazing to watch the climber up in the tree and the co-ordination with the ground crew in tying off the various limbs and directing them to the ground between homes without any property damage. Through additional discussion with Kevin during the process, we agreed to some modifications in how severely the tree should be trimmed.
2. Kevin was a very knowledgeable arborist.
3. The clean up at the end was immaculate especially considering the rainy conditions that they were encountering during the entire tree trimming process.
   I will consider Kevin for any future work to be done to the tree.

This company is beyond excellent. They were on time, courteous at all times, highly skilled and totally professional in EVERY way. The final price was exactly what we agreed on even though they did more than we agreed on just to make the final results meet their high standards. I happened to be cutting my lawn on a Saturday morning when I saw that my neighbors across the street were having some of their front oak trees serviced by Trees by Kevin M Dyer. As I had been previously thinking of having some of my trees serviced as well, I decided to watch the work this company was doing. I quickly became very impressed with the work and asked my neighbors how they had found that company. My neighbors said they had found them on an ad on the local paper. While I was talking with my neighbors, another neighbor came to let us know that he had spoken to Dale, Kevin's Dad, and they were going to be doing some work for him too. So I decided to ask for a quote to get my trees serviced as well. I spoke with Dale, who is the saleman for the company and the one that would quote you the job. The initial quote that I was given was higher than what I expected and could afford and I told Dale. Dale was agreeable to a price close to what I proposed and he told me they could do the job that same day. When it was time to perform the job, Kevin had a crew of 4 other people with him. They all worked very expeditiously and you could see that Kevin really knew the tree service business. Those in the crew that I spoke to were quite pleasant and Kevin was great too. I had a tree stump from a previous service job, and I asked Kevin what could be done about it. He said that they could grind it for me but, in order to save me money, that he would recommend that I did it myself with a simple technique of drilling and putting stump rot to the stump. So I think Kevin was pretty fair in that respect as he was not trying to make money on me for something that I could do myself. Overall, it was a good experience. I spoke with both of my other neighbors and, as me, they both would recommend this company to others. I will definitely consider Kevin and his crew for future jobs.

I guessed Dale liked trees when he stepped out of his car and exclaimed and quot;what a magnificent Oak treeand quot;. I was however reminded by the skeptic in that he was a salesman. After meeting Kevin and a discussion regarding tree care and what I wanted done I knew that this company would be the right choice. The crew arrived promptly, were courteous, and quickly went to work. Careful attention to detail sculpting the trees made the surrounding neighbors tree trimming look like a hack job. After the meticulous clean up the property is now one of the nicest in the area. The skeptic was proven wrong. They are salesmen that have a passion for providing quality work at a competitive price.
