MID PINELLAS AIR

Process went great. Had 17 year old unit replaced. Contacted Ray with Mid Pinellas Air who came out to give me an estimate. Scheduled an install appointment for the following week. I received an update two days before appointment as to what time they would be at my home. Ray and his Son arrived at the appointment and promptly went to work. They did an great job and the unit looks awesome!

I had a leaking coil and it needed to be replaced. The original installed price seemed high so I shopped around. Someone recommended Pinellas Air. I called them and they gave me a price of $375 which was less than a third of the price I originally quoted. That should have been a red flag. Pinellas Air had no idea what they were doing. The AC was short cycling, they came back twice and charged me a total of more than $190. They gave me several stories of what was wrong. I was under contract with the original installer and had one more free service call. Their tech, Scott Probst immediately noticed the sensor controlling the amount of coolant flowing into the coils was missing. I called Pinellas Air and after several visits installed the sensor. It still did not work correctly. I called Pinellas Air and they told me that my AC "had too many bells and whistles". They did not have the expertise to do the job and were not coming back to finish the job. I called Harrington Air and their tech, Gideon found a part laying in the attic that was not reinstalled by Pinellas Air. The part was installed by Gideon. He said the part missing made water trip the float valve causing unit to short cycle. The AC is working great now. I have all the documentation from Climate Design and Harrington to verify the shoddy work of Pinellas Air

I would definitely use them again.
