Most of my stuff is done through Home Depot because they guarantee their work. I don't know who's going to be around a year from now or two years from now. They've put my roof on, they've put windows in and they've put in blown insulation; and they're getting ready to do the siding.

They did good. They did clean up because that blown-in insulation is a mess and they did a good job cleaning it up, and they didn't come through the ceiling, so that's a good thing.

The reason I did Home Depot is because they guarantee their work. The roof is guaranteed for as long as I live in my home. You pay about a 15% surcharge over if you were just to get a bid someplace or something like that, but you can't buy an insurance policy for that to cover that. You pay about $10,000 and you pay 15% more, then you don't have to worry about it. They did my windows. If a bracket breaks or the window breaks or anything like that, they come back and repair it. They had to take off the old roof and make sure there was plenty of nails in it. There must have been at least five guys there. They cleaned up after themselves. I had a field adjuster come out, and they had to look at the whole house and said wow, this is really a good job on the roof. So not only did Home Depot do a good job in my mind, but the field adjuster looking for damage, he said this is excellent. For the price, you have to take into consideration all the other stuff. Home Depot isn't going away. If another company did it and something happened with the roofing in two years, that company could be out of business. They set up appointments and they made the appointments.

Consulted with Door/Millwork Specialist Joe Hubbard to build new front entry door with glass from their resources. Joe provided us valuable information for us to make a decision on a door design along with installation options. Joe took down our information so he could contact door/glass manufacturer to get accurate pricing. He worked diligently to keep faxing info to them until they responded with needed info and then promptly called me to provide that pricing. That pricing was much cheaper than local door specialists so we decided to go with them and their highly recommended door install contractor.
I met with Joe in store to finalize door specs and purchase door, hardware, and installation. He worked with me until transaction was complete. My door is right on schedule to be delivered and installed this wk and I have Joe to thank for that timing. Great experience from a Big Box Store, and that doesnt happen everyday. Thanks Joe!

They came put and did the job. They explained everything they were going to do. The only problem I had was trying to get someone to call me to do a follow-up. Otherwise, their work was good.

THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. 'UNCLE BILL' SAT WITH US AND DESIGNED A KITCHEN BASED ON MEASUREMENTS. HE STAYED UNDER BUDGET. HE HELPED TO COORDINATE CUPBOARDS AND COUNTERTOPS. EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETED WITH TIME FRAME SPECIFIED.
