GLEN MYERS PLUMBING INC. (profile) I have been a (fully licensed and fully insured) plumbing contractor here in Pinellas County Florida since 1989, and 'All' of my plumbing jobs (both residential and commercial ones) are done 'by me' personally at reasonable (and competitive) rates, with 'No' travel time or overtime charges added onto those rates. "I am an 81 year old and I can say I've experienced a great deal, but never have I experienced such rudeness, disrespect and lack of professionalism as I have today, when a plumber that was recommended to me by my neighbor came to my home to repair a running toilet." His first words after greeting me was "How old are you" as if sizing me up. Then later as
I asked him about what was needed for the job, he suggested that I GO WATCH TV, HAVE A MARTINI or whatever, or it would take him all day to finish, and that I would have to pay for it After 45 minutes he gave me his price. When I asked a questioned about the bill, he said I was probably "One of those people who voted for Obama" he went on to insist that our president was not an American and that he had proof in the form of a birth certificate stating that he was born in Kenya. As an African american. I found that comment insulting. Once I paid him, he dropped my check on the floor and stated "I hope it doesn't bounce". I told him that I felt he was quite unprofessional and would not recommend him to my friends, to which he responded that he could always find work whether I recommended him or not. .Not only is Mr. Glen Myers unprofessional and rude, he seems to take pleasure in insulting his customers. Glen Myers plumbing is the worse."
