Ernst & Sons Tree Experts: 1) responded promptly to my phone call requesting an estimate (which distinguished them from others who did not bother to even return my call). 2) arrived quickly and promptly after the phone call to provide a written proposal for the work. 3) quoted a reasonable fee for a difficult tree removal. 4) promptly scheduled a time to remove the tree after I contacted them and accepted their proposal. 5) arrived on time and worked diligently using numerous workers to remove the tree which was a very difficult task as it had grown into and damaged the storage building, was located in the corner of a privacy fenced yard within only 2' of the fence along two sides of the property, with a neighbor's screened pool enclosure beneath overhanging branches, and the tree growing into power lines and a utility pole with a transformer. The tree sections had to be gently hoisted down to avoid damage to the fence and neighbors' property. 6) used workers who were professional and courteous. 7) completed the job in only a couple of hours. 8) cleaned up all debris from the yard as well as the neighbor's yard. Even neighbors who I expected to complain due to the fact that their yards had to be accessed to perform the work were so pleased with the company's work and its workers that they requested estimates from Ernst & Sons for tree work on their properties. I couldn't be more satisfied with this company and their work!

One of three neighboring households working together to facilitate scheduling. Crew showed up six hours late with no notification, necessitating a second day of work (meaning a second day off from work for me). Crew worked well (good cleanup, ensured my satisfaction), but the administration at the office/dispatch needs some work regarding customer service dos and don'ts -- couldn't seem to understand why we were annoyed that they were late without the courtesy of a phone call.
