"On Monday May 29th it rained all day so I was a day late (I was supposed to start on the 30th). I did receive a call from (Member name removed) but there was no mention of debris removal. I did not return her call because I thought that it was pretty obvious that I would be behind because of a complete day of rain. If there were mention of debris removal I would have told her that I have a box truck (with no room for debris) and I would have to contact my hauling guy and that there would be an extra fee. As far as not mowing the back yard it that is simply not true. My mower only goes so low and the lawn was short (and sandy) so maybe she didn’t notice. (Member name removed) is taking her babysitter’s word that I did not go back there. I have been in business for 21 years and I don’t mow half a lawn especially a BRAND NEW COUSTOMER. She did call and I don’t remember if I returned a message or if I answered but she told me “you did not mow the back yard” to which I replied “yes I did and there is no question in my mind that I did”. She then said “no you didn’t”. (Well what does that mean to anyone reading this when someone tells you that you didn’t do something that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt you did?) I said “first you tell me that I didn’t do something that I know that I did and then you well “CALL ME A LIER” “Yea we are done here and hung up”. There is a reason that her previous lawn guy quit, he is my friend, and I know exactly why he quit but I can’t write that on here because I am a professional. You can’t please everyone so I quit too. She says that I was unprofessional in the way that I spoke to her but how unprofessional is it when you talk to me like I am a 4 year old and then call me liar? I am 42 years old and been in business 21 years and I can’t remember the last time I lost a customer for something that I did. They move or die…That’s it Oh and she never paid me!!!
