"Thank you so much for the review on our Company [Member Name Removed]. It was a pleasure working for you. We appreciate the business. Rob Brennan"
"We feel here at Affordable Views the information posted was a attempt to blemish our Companies reputation due to a issue that was caused by unknown circumstances. We built this project for Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and based on there comments to us, "Everybody who sees this outdoor project you built for us absolutely Loves it". They loved this project as well, they must have, they had us do a complete master bath remodel only month's after this project came to completion. In communication with Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] over a few weeks time, we discussed back and forth a issue of concern to them around a crack in the stamped concrete we poured and a crack in the counter tops we poured at the barbecue. Both items are exterior concrete and do not have a warranty based on the uncertainty of the ground underneath the patio. I had made them aware of this and also made them aware of the fact I would do everything I could to still assist them with a remedy and financial aid in the event they found someone to do a surface finish on the patio and also volunteered to help with a payment of up to 1,500.00 to replace the counter tops at there will. We did this out of good business practices and trying to help our client through a issue that was clearly, understandably bothering them. The counter tops were very small and this amount was enough to cover it's replacement costs. As far as my Sub Contractor going back to look at the concrete for me which was different from the original Sub Contractor saying the concrete was installed all wrong was simply not true. We base this comment on the Sub contractors word to us he did not say that. He in fact requested to revisit the issue with me and the Client, Mr. [Member Name Removed] to go back over what was said and the invitation was declined to the best of my knowledge. I don't know anyone who can look at a concrete slab and say it was installed in correctly. How can you see the prep work and conditions of the ground prior to the pour after the concrete has been poured. This is irrelevant any how, no matter what was done to protect the concrete from cracking there is no warranty to prevent it known to us. The last email communication we had with Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was in regards to our helping them with a solution and or financial aid towards the situation as we previously pointed out. They said they were going to figure out what course of action they were going to take and not to worry about anything for now. A few weeks later we received a negative review from them. We were very surprised as we thought we had a good working relationship with them. In closing, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] points out issues she was unhappy with during the course of this project and how it leaves her with a distrust in Contractors. What is hard to believe about that is she had us do a second major remodeling project for her just months after this one? If the job was so bad and left her not trusting contractors then why have us do a second job if the first one was run so poorly? We are proud of the jobs we built for Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and feel we ran the projects professionally and stand behind our work and warranties for that work. Best regards, Robert Brennan Affordable Views"
"We provided a estimate and base drawing to scale per our obligation. We never did receive any other information back from the customer after the estimate and plans were delivered. For 49.00 dollars we estimated the job and supplied a floor layout, this cost us 250.00 to provide. We feel we honored the customers purchase. Angles list makes money off these deals and we have to try and make the customer happy per Angies list wording. As a company I myself do not like these package deals and will never do one again. We had to estimate 11 customers plans and supply drawings from our drafter that over all cost us as a company 1,200.00 dollars plus our time with no sales recorded. Folks are just looking for a plan so they can build the basement themselves. The one bad review we have is from a bad sales pitch on your end."
