***PSA****DO NOT HIRE*** DO NOT HIRE USA Plumbing Depot, owned by Charles Young who is also a Pembroke Pines firefighter. He is unprofessional, over charges and does not perform services as is usual & customary and then spends days dicking around with providing basics like receipts and quotes. I paid him $500 for a camera inspection only to find out after the fact that the inspection was not recorded. From the moment I handed him my check I asked for a receipt which he said he did not have any and would get me one the next day. After repeated reminders I still did not get one, but he was sure to cash the check. Further, when I started asking about a written quote (his verbal quote was 12K) to repair my collapsed sewer line, he delayed for days until I finally gave up and paid $400 to another plumber for a 2nd camera inspection so that I could get a quote for repairs. The situation was urgent because the house was uninhabitable so I could not continue to wait around. My insurance company told me that they could reimburse me for both camera inspections, but that the cancelled check to USA Plumbing would not be sufficient. Therefore since Thursday, May 16th I have made repeated attempts to get the documentation my insurance company requires; its 1 piece of paper. I have texted and tried to call. A mutual friend has texted and called. My insurance company has called. All to no avail. As of our attempts on May 24th, he DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE BALLS to respond to me directly; he simply told the mutual friend that he "was stuck on a job." Stuck on a job since May 14th? I wonder if that is what he tells his other customers when they cannot get hold of him. His inability to provide something basic like a receipt with the required information (which has been relayed to him) shows a lack of professionalism. Save yourself the money; DO NOT HIRE USA Plumbing!
