Steve's Window Tinting

I don't know if there is such a thing as a master window tinter but if there is Steve would certainly fit the bill. It is nothing short of amazing watching him so effortlessly remove old tint and install new tint with such speed and precision. His wife Lisa does the phone work and coordination. They are both very friendly and accommodating and keep you well informed. I had used Steve years ago when I first moved into my present abode. So naturally when I had to have a recently replaced window pane tinted I called Steve. While he was working I mentioned to him that my wife always complained about the heat that would come in from our large dome picture window in the family room. Even dark tinting can only do so much. Though we have blinds on the lower portion of this window the arc of the upper portion is proportionately larger than the lower half. This is very unusual which meant any type of shudder would have to be custom constructed. When we moved in we were given estimates of around $4,000.00 which we found to be prohibitive. To my surprise Steve said he now installed wood shutters and that he represented Norman Shutters out of California who were very reasonable. He worked up an estimate that came to $1,850.00. He did the many measurements required that turned out to be right on the money and two months later I have a beautiful oak wood shutter and a happy and cool wife. As usual for Steve, the installation was fast and clean.
