Terminix - Panama City -Termite & Pest Control

Had to call back multiple times throughout the three month period. The product does not last, we were constantly seeing something. There was always an excuse "it's the rain, it's the cold" ( No, we did not have an infestation, but we live by woods.) They specifically advertise that they provide rodent extermination/control. I had a mouse in my room and they gave me a glue trap. When I informed them that I had already tried this, he responded, "Mice are dumb." Obviously, it did not work and I had to catch the mouse by hand in a bucket. I wanted to make sure there were no rats in the garage because my dog kills them and they said there is nothing that they can do about that. (so what exactly am I paying for here?) I had several miscommunications about appointments. They changed them without notice. I asked them to come out and spray one last time before the 3 month term ended and they sprayed the inside and told me they couldn't treat the outside until the rain dried up. They came back to perform the OUTSIDE TREATMENT ONLY, and charged me for a new term of three months saying that it was a whole service performed. I have received countless bills and I called repeatedly and asked for management. It only took them 4 months to respond, only to tell me that I owe them an entire 3 months payment for the one OUTSIDE ONLY treatment they performed. I asked if the treatment was pet safe and they proclaimed a resounding yes. Well hundreds of dollars in vet bills later PLUS the issue is now horrifically worse than before, this is by far the WORST company you could call!

They treated the ground around the area and around the house. Recently I have had a bug attack my Sago Palms. I have emailed and called with no responses. Makes me think their customer service is great when the salesman first comes, but long term is not there? They would have received all A's if they would have helped with my Sago Palms. I feel abandon with no response.

Horrible!  I would not ever contract with this company for insulation again!   They charged my credit card on the Friday before they started work on the following Monday.   The "KID" they sent out to do the work lied about getting all of the old insulation out of the attic.  When he left on Monday afternoon he told me he would be back at 0830 on Tuesday to install the new insulation.   I looked in the attic on Tuesday morning and the old insulation had not been removed from about 1/3  of the west end of the original house!   I tried to call Terminix and get a message to them that they needed to bring the extraction equip back, I was unsuccessful.  He arrived and I told him there was still old insulation in the west end of the house and I wanted it out.  He then had to make a 50 mile trip back to the office to get the other equipment.   On Wednesday they came to complete the insulation install.  When they left for lunch I looked in the new part of the house attic and found they had not removed the old insulation in a major portion ot the attic.   When they returned from lunch, I told him they had not removed the insulation from a portion of the attic.   His reply was "how do you know that!"   I told him I had been into the attic.  He then requested that I show him,  I DID!   
    One of the workers was super! He did the majority of the work!  
    We have had Terminix pest service for going on 20 yrs and are very happy with our technician.   So, for pest control we are pleased!  For insulation -- Never again!

Great. I'd give them an A. The price went up this year though.

The service was outstanding, but we had an issue a few weeks ago, where we were having an extension put on, and they threatened to terminate our coverage on the spot. We thought that was a little unreasonable, considering when the extension was done, we were going to adjust our bond. You can't necessarily do a bond, unless the construction is complete. I got a letter from them asking us to get a coverage for $100, which was a little disturbing. We used to have a lot intrusions of ants and coakroaches, and that stopped after some of the bug treatments. The price is good. They tell us when our check ups are due, and they are pretty prompt. I haven't known them to break an appointment yet.

We have a maintenance schedule. The guy that comes and inspects the traps and does the spraying, he's a very personable and friendly. It went very well. We don't see bugs and termites. If he need him he comes out. He's willing to come out and treat it again but we never had to.

We have used Terminix for several years now. After having three nasty bouts with termites we have been very happy with Terminix. The only reason why our review is less than stellar is because when we have had to have major repair work done to the house they haven't been the most timely. Now I will admit that they probably have more than our home to repair in this area (as so many homes have been built on what used to be a swamp) and though every time we have called them they have eventually come out. It may take several phone calls however when they do show every representative has been pleasant, helpful, informative and Terminix has completed the job well and at their expense. I would recommend that one take the leap and buy into a reputable termite protection plan. Though expensive at first, it has more than paid for itself!
