It took them a few times before they were actually able to fix it. The good part was that I had a one year maintenance plan with them, so it was free of charge.

Sears technicians are very prompt & polite & professional. I trust them completely w/diagnosing and repairing my appliances. So much so that I took out a 5-yr warranty with Sears on 3 of my appliances. What I learned though is that I NEVER want their "overflow" company (Dobbs Appliance Repair) to ever work on any of my appliances again. Sears doesn't want the customer to wait too long for service so when needed, they schedule customers w/their overflow company. THEY NEED TO CHANGE WHO THEY USE FOR THEIR OVERFLOW COMPANY!! Because I had Dobbs work on my washer, they had to remove the washer from the house (a practice Sears does not condone) and take it back to their shop. They returned it the next day (now with scuff marks which it never had before) saying it was as quiet as could be when working. The machine made a squeaking/squealing sound from the first load I washed for the next 3 1/2 weeks - a noise it had never made before - off and on throughout the entire cycle. A Sears tech diagnosed the noise as occurring from faulty installation of a part by Dobbs. It's been one problem after another with Dobbs and my washing machine. I highly recommend Sears for home repair service - just DO NOT let them schedule you with Dobbs Repair Service.

They were very thorough. They explained things really well. They gave a lot of options. We gave them our price and they looked in that range. They gave us options on what they could do. They were extremely professional. They came to our home to explain everything. They were just very good. They did really well with the window installation as well. We didn't have any problems with them. They were here when they said they would be. They cleaned up after themselves well. They really did a good job. The only negative thing is that they use subcontractors. If we are not happy with the work or have any questions, they come out to inspect and correct it.

We had an easy experience. They came out when they said they would. We didn't have to wait. We didn't spend anything as it was under warranty. We didn't have any problems.

The delivery guys were great because I had exercise equipment delivered and it was extremely heavy. They were very professional and set it exactly where I wanted it. They were great. Their service men that delivered huge, heavy pieces of exercise equipment were excellent.

He did a very good job. He was very detailed. He did the job quickly and got out. I would use them again in the future if necessary.
