PEOPLES LAWN & IRRIGATION

"My name is Kenneth Peoples, and I am the owner of Peoples Lawn and Irrigation in Panama City Beach, Florida. I am sending this letter in my defense to a claim brought against me by a former client. She was a client of mine for about 6 months. In those 6 months I never received any complaints from her about the work that my company provided for her. We then put in a pump house for her. At the time of completion she was told that there were front and back access panels. I am not sure if she did not understand what that meant or just forgot, but either way she tried removing the top instead of using one of the access panels. When she was unable to remove it she had three men come over to try and move it. In the process they broke a pipe on the pump. Instead of calling me to tell me what happened, she called and left me a very rude voicemail demanding I come fix it for free. If the two men had known what they were doing they would have never tried to lift the lid they would have went through the access panels. We have built many pump houses and have NEVER had any complaints on a single one of them. I did not return her call, as her voicemail was extremely rude. I understand that I should have even if to let her go as a client. I did not feel she had the right to speak to me in the manner that she did. I do apologize though for not returning her call. She also stated in her letter that we waited too long to cut her grass. She was on a 2 week rotation as per herself that is all that she could afford. She was told that we were able to have her on a weekly rotation. She never complained about limbs being left and always told me my guys did a great job. I have owned my business for many years and I have many clients that are very happy with the work that my company provides for them. I do not feel that I deserve to be treated, or slandered publicly, or spoken to the way that she did. If I wasn’t a successful and professional business man I wouldn’t have all the repeat cliental that I have today. I understand that I can’t make everyone happy but I do try my best and again I apologize, but please do not try to ruin my business that I have worked so hard to make successful"
