They explained the process, and showed up on time, cleaned up the area, and were extremely professional and courteous. 

They were punctual, polite and very knowledgeable on the job at hand.  Following the initial cleanout of the toilet drain line, the problem returned and they promptly returned and repeated the procedure and recommended a cleanout access be installed outside of the structure to facilitate any future actions.  Overall it was a good experience and we have had no problems in the year since the service was performed.

Never fulfilled appointment

Patrick Jr arrived for both appointments on time. Appointments were confirmed by the office prior to arrival. He was completely professional and personable. No mess remained after the work was completed. The original appointment was made to clear drains. At that time, a quote was requested for installation of a new water heater and an appointment was made for installation 4 days later. We were given alternatives on replacing a nonfunctional disposal. We opted to have it removed and did not replace it. Patrick also offered to do remodeling in one bath and would have repaired the kitchen cabinet that was damaged by water leaking from the disposal. He did warn us that he would not be cheap however and recommended we use a handyman instead if we knew one (we do).
I think you pay a premium price with Muth and Sons, but it is completely worth it to me to get the job done well and have it right the first time. They have been in business for 53 years in Bay county.

Patrick was at the door within 45 min of my first call and after telling us why the tank failed, we discussed moving the tank to a better location. Set up an appt for him to come back the next day and replace/move the tank. While we were under the house, we found a variety of small leaks and I asked him to fix them as well. His brother came to help and they got nearly everything fixed that day, but they ran out of time. They came back on Tues and finished.

They did this within a 24 hour period.

The Muth Plumbing representation arrived on time for an estimate to replace the plumbing in a 1955 house. He was very personable and inspected the house inside and out pretty much like the other estimators from companies we contacted did. He did try to up sell us on other services. However, Muth Plumbing never responded with an estimate. I feel that a business should respond even if they don't want to bid on a job. They don't need to say why, a negative response is fine, e.g, 'We appreciate your request for a bid on re-plumbing your home but are unable to respond at this time. Please consider us for work you may have in the future.' Since I received no response at all, I probably won't call them for any future work.

The job went very well. The technician, which I learned is the company vice-president did all the work while training a helper. The troubleshooting was performed as expected and repair of the sink was quick and efficient.
I asked him to quote the purchase and installation of a new toilet for the men's room. The time to install the toilet was extended due to the fact that the initial toilet delivered was broken. We had to wait on delivery of an additional toilet. The technician had to work overtime to complete the job before departing.

they came when they said they would and it fit my schedule. They gave me a price for the valve replacement and also worked on a leak I pointed out in the bathroom. they replace the valve and determined that the wrong fixture had been installed in the bathroom and that was causing the problem. They replace the fixture with the correct one and I have not had any problems since.

Needed the toilet fixed ASAP. Called and they got a plumber to our condo promptly. Plumber decribed in detail what needs to be repaired and made sure we were okay with everything. Finished the job and cleaned up after himself. Great family owned and operated company!

Called about leaky plumbing in the bathroom. Cynthia (i think is the woman in the office that took my call) was helpful and polite. Serviceman Brian was her in approx. 2 hrs. Repair was done in less than an hour. Brian was very professional. Job was well done. Will definitely call this company again.

They showed up when they said they would. Had what was needed to complete the job and performed the work as promised.

They were real nice and very personable. They worked with me. Instead of charging me for a guy to come out and look at the water heater, they just got the information over the phone. He basically told me what to do and how much it would cost to get a new one. They were trying to save me some money.

I called for an estimate in the winter, but decided against having it done this year. In May they called me to follow up, they asked if they could at least do an estimate for me in case I wanted to do it sometime in the future. I'm so glad I said "yes". They did the estimate, which was much lower than I had assumed it would be and they scheduled the job and it was completed in two days!! My pool's temperature rose from 76 degrees the first day to 82!! Within a few days it was a perfect 86!! Don't need it now, but can't wait til this fall when I plan to swim as long as possible. I highly recommend Muth and Sons and a solar pool heater.
