Sent pictures of work to be done for quote. Prompt response of $700.00 to replace exterior power box and bad breakers based upon picture. After arrival to perform work, the technician informed me this was way more involved than the pictures I sent.  The only extra work I noticed accomplished was cutting a 6inch by 1 inch slot to gain more flexibility in the line to attach to the back of the breaker box and cutting a pvc pipe to install a flex pipe..  I was hit up for an additional $400 in supplies and $576 in labor.  I called to question the charge and was told the pictures were deceiving, so my expected cost went from $700 to $1680.  As an active military service member, I did the honorable thing and paid the bill.  They are a professional and courteous company but I feel totally taken advantage of even though I was told the cost may be "a little higher".  Didn't expect it be almost $1000 higher and for the life of me, still cant figure it out.

They arrived ON TIME and were able to install our new floodlight without any issues. Very helpful, respectful and cleaned up after the job was done. I was expecting this to cost a lot of money due to the fact that the junction box now sat way inside the wall of the home due to the new stucco. I didn't watch them so I am not exactly sure what they did, but at this point I don't care as long as the light works and is held tightly to the wall. They did a fantastic job. Showing up ON TIME and CLEANING UP is a big plus in my book, I will use them for my next electrical need.

Everything went fine. Had appointment in less than 24 hours. I had diagnosed the problem before calling and they confirmed the problem within 5 minutes of arrival. Installed new switch, and were done in less than 30 minutes. I knew it would not be cheap but would rather this be done by a professional. 2 techs arrived, were courteous, friendly and professional. I would gladly recommend this company again.

We lost power to at least 4 outlets a couple of months ago, all on one circuit. My husband and I replaced all the outlets, and the circuit breaker at the box. Nothing. 3 bathroom outlets and a sunroom outlet were all tied to together, with one of the bathroom outlets being wired to a GFCI plug thingie. We just dealt with it. (Turned the circuit breaker switch to and quot;off, and quot; and ignored it for a while)
Finally got around to calling an electrician on Thursday. Jerry Pybus Elec was here on FRIDAY! For a little residential job! Aaron and crew showed up just when they said they would, and we walked them through the issue. They said we'd wired everything correctly, turned on the breaker, found current, reset the GFCI button in the master bath, and VOILA...power! Kind of like when you take your car to the mechanic because it is making that buzzing noise...only when you get it there, it doesn't make the noise anymore, you know?!
They explained, patiently, that any little thing can trip a GFCI (and we do have critters in these here parts of the South). Since we were already paying for an hour, we went ahead and had Aaron finish up tidying an outlet I was working on in the sunroom.
We got a lesson on why there was an outlet on one side of the house (sunroom) tied to an outlet in middle of the house (bathroom) to an outlet at the end of the house (bathroom). The sunroom was outside at one time, so it was like an automatic GFCI. All those outlets could potentially be exposed to water, so they...whatever. It was interesting.
Professional, punctual, knowledgeable. A+

He cut the wires to far back. It seemed like he was doing extra work just to charge extra.

On Sunday, i had a blown breaker and a string of electrical outlets across the living room and outside were affected, including the TV. My son had narrowed the culprit down to most likely being the outside outlet, but he couldn't fix it. I couldn't find Jason Jones in the phone book, so i called Jerry Pybus. I was quoted $138/hr including travel to and from where the electrician originated. If i waited until Monday it would be $128/hr starting from the time he arrived until he finished. I decided to go ahead. The electrician arrived in about 20 minutes. He looked at the breaker and listened to my story. He went outside and looked at the outlet, and found a broken wire. He fixed it quickly and efficiently. He charged me for one hour. I was very pleased.

They were nice and they were on time, but they were expensive. Too expensive in my book. They tell you when you call that it will be $128 per hour - so I give them credit for that.

For the three things indicated above - in my mind a one-hour job - they took 1-hour and 40-minutes - including 10-minutes with them waiting for a billing person to call them back with cost of various parts. The only parts that they added were electrical line in the attick to connect my ceiling fan. They charged me for a full two hours ($256) and with parts it totalled $284.00.

Everything worked well, my only complaint is having them round-up to charge for a full second hour with my paying for them to wait to get billing charges from their clerk. I wouldn't have kicked if they had charged me for 1-1/2 hours, but having to wait for those billing charges and then charging me for the wait time, just doesn't seem right.

It would have been an and quot;Aand quot; experience except for the price - which I thought was overcharging. Good guys, good work - but they will stick you on the bill.

They sent someone out the same day I called. It was a team of two, and they worked for an hour, needed some parts, came back the next day and finished it up. They called before they came and explained their work in detail. I think it was $128/hour for labor, which is why the price grade was B, but really they worked very efficiently so it was definitely worth it.

UPDATE: After the plumbers left, the hot water did not work and the lights were flickering. The plumbers came back and confirmed it was an electrical problem. Pybus sent out two guys the very next morning, and they found that a very old fuse had blown (showed it to me-- all rusty, etc.). They didn't charge for the return call even though it had nothing to do with their previous work and only charged for the part. They were extremely professional and responsive, not to mention that they found the problem really quickly so they are very good. I loved working with Pybus and would DEFINITELY call them again for any electrical issues we might run into with our older home.

They answered all my questions, showed up on time and worked with me and my schedule. They take several different forms of payment. Perhaps they should keep a few more parts on their truck, but overall the experience was great and I'd be happy to call them again.
