We had my wife's car taken here to diagnose its no-start condition. They got to it right away and had the problem thoroughly detailed the following morning. They provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong with the car and an estimate for the work required to fix it. I would have liked to have had them do the job but their price was just too high.

They are the most professional guys I have seen. They are pretty thorough. He gives service guarantee that if something is not right, you go back, and they will do it again without charge. I will continue to use their services.

The problem ended up being my gas tank screw top.  I needed a new one.  This would have cost me $2.50 but 800.00 dollars later I find out the problem.  He said my computer was broken, thus he had to check everything.  I would have thought he would have began with the minor things first.  Maybe he did, I don't know.  I should have known.  I went to him one other time before this incident.  Oil change.  He apparently found many things wrong, and $800.00 later I got my car back.   Never again!

Will not go there again. Will not recommend anyone to go there. They are strictly after the dollar with no compassion for the working man/family. There are too many others out there to be concerned with people like them

I took my pickup truck there knowing what was wrong with it, the coolant pump needed replacement, and I told them. They still charged me an $80 "diagnostic fee" and told me what I already knew. The estimate for repairs and parts was over $1000 because his desk man told me I needed a new radiator as well, and his repairs were warrantied (something offered by ALL NAPA-affiliated garages). I told his employee that there was no way I could afford that, and he continued to try and sell me this repair job. I told him NO, and as soon as I got there, I was told that I would not be allowed to take my truck until I paid the $80 diagnostic fee, which I did and left after pouring more water in the radiator so I could drive. I went to another garage, and the repairs were done along with a timing readjustment on the engine, and I was told I did NOT need a new radiator after all. And yes, they offered the same 12 month warranty as James Auto Center, because they too, are a NAPA Gold facility. The total from them as well as the same 12 month warranty? $310.00. James Auto Center tries to get the most money out of every customer that they can, and I encourage everyone to STAY AWAY from them. They act and talk nicely to you, but con artists almost always do.

He is local and has been here for almost 30 years. His service center is excellent. He will tell us what he needs to do and he goes for a test drive for everybody before he works on our cars. He tells us how much approximately it is going to cost.

I was so impressed by this! It illustrates his expertise. His work has always been very good. His professionalism is outstanding.
