HC Painting

HC stands for HENRY CRAYTON who is the owner of his own painting service. He is extremely unreliable and not dependable. Didn't show up on first day of the job (Sat) and did not call. Came by house on Sun apologizing for being a no-show. I gave him a second chance to show up on Monday which he did. Painted one coat on bedroom walls. Beforehand he had asked me to remove painters tape from all trim (crown moulding, door frames, baseboards) which I had originally put up when I had planned to do the painting. He ended up getting paint all on the crown moulding and baseboards, as well as on several areas of the carpet. After first coat he said he normally collects half the payment so I wrote him a check for $75 - after all, he did complete almost half the job). He was supposed to return the next day to put on second coat and touch up trim work. He kept reassuring me everything would be taken care of and he would have everything looking good. He never showed the next day to complete the job. He left me hanging to either complete the job myself or hire another painter.
