Bill Walther sent his son out to do a roof certification/inspection. His son intentionally damaged the roof during the inspection in attempts to create a new roofing job for the company. Later that night it rained and the damage his son did to the roof caused the roof to leak. They denied the criminal damage to the property and refused to repair it.

After Hurricane Ivan, the previous owner simply had a new layer of shingles installed over the existing shingles. By 09/2019 the roof needed new shingles. I received quotes from five companies: Bill Walther Roofing, Pensacola Roofing, Professional Roofing, Ridgeline Construction, and Lowes. Only two of them actually went up on the roof to evaluate its condition; the others took the square footage from satellite pictures. Bill was the only one to note that there were two layers of shingles. If you have a fireplace, you have a ridge that runs from your roof into the back of the chimney to divert water around the chimney. Bill was the only one to note that mine was too low and needed to be rebuilt higher. He also noted that there was water damage around my chimney and sections of rafters and soffit would need to be replaced. All of this extra work, and his estimate was the lowest of the five. Ridgeline presented the most impressive quote, including many color pictures of their work. But they noted that if any extra layers of shingles needed to be removed it would cost $30.00 per square extra! They priced themselves way out of consideration! I didn't choose Lows because I had no idea who would actually come out to do the work. My roof has since survived many storms, including Hurricane Sally, with absolutely no problems!!

Went very smoothly. Worked with Glen and John on estimates and chose the shingle we wanted. Signed the contract, county permit was obtained and job was scheduled. They started on time. The crew worked from daylight to dusk completing the job in two and a half working days. Total time on site was three and a half days due to rain preventing work on the second day (no leaks noticed). Cleanup was thorough and crew members were professional and respectful. No money was requested until the job was completed to our satisfaction. Their estimate was comparable to another company.

Contacted for a free estimate. The company sent “Wayne Wilson” out first thing the very next day. He was very nice and professional. He spent quality time on the measurements and estimates and the received quote he gave was very reasonable. He also left us with copies of the written estimate, along with a book containing actual shingle samples of the different color options, and a poster sheet of the metal roof color options/solar reflectance & thermal emittance values/and types & dimensions of the actual metal panels that would be used. The only difficult part of this making my color choice! Honestly received a wonderful and quality experience. A+ service. Would definitely recommend! Thankyou Bill & Wayne!

Wayne Wilson, the area manager is very polite and answered all my questions. I was very nervous about roofing, since I have had bad experiences in the past with roofers. Wayne was very patient and explained the process and answered all my concerns. I would recommend this company. The roof looks great.

Bill Walther Roofing Is who you need to call if your looking for good quality roof work. Their pricing was budget friendly, and everyone on their team was amazing! From the estimator, to the office crew, down to the work crew. Their entire work crew was very professional and courteous. They were there early, finished up in a timely manner, cleaned up afterwards, and made sure that we were happy before they left. Thank you for a job well done! I am very happy. I chosed bill because tof their response time. I had an issue on how it looks but they came back and fixed it right away, made sure that i was happy. I would probably go back to them due to they tend to make sure that the customer is happy.

The guys worked very hard the whole time they was . They worked long hours to get the job done . All workers was pleasant and very professional. They was careful with flowers and cleaned up every day . I highly recommend these guys . We was very pleased with the price since we had several eistmate and they was the lowest .

GREAT! Showed up on time and got to work.

Sent an email to the company and the next day, Glenn who I had met before sowed up. Got on a ladder, fixed the loose eave metal. The company installed the roof a couple of years ago and no leaks. One good thing is that the company is also a licensed contractor and they can make repairs that a roofing company cannot do.

The company responded to my call promptly, sent a representative to make an estimate, scheduled the repair quickly, and completed the work.

On May 2nd I emailed Bill Walther Roofing Company and expressed my concern and asked that this matter be resolved before I called the State Attorney. Later that same day I received a rather angry phone call from Mr. Walther. During, what turned out to be a one sided tyrade about how he did not have to honor any agreement written or verbal after 30 days. He went on to say that he was, and again I quote: "sure glad I did not do the work for you" and "I withdraw my offer to do it for $700" I must admit that I cannot accurately attest to the quality of workmanship but I certainly can comment on their business ethics. As a small business owner myself, I know that my word is my bond and if I promise a price to a customer I honor that price no matter what. Apparently this is not the case with Bill Walthers Roofing. As a side note and a personal FYI, I contacted the State Attorneys office and was told that Florida gouging laws do not apply to contractors and it was suggested that I pursue another course of action.

The men came over when they said they would, stayed and worked hard all day for three days with a slight break because of rain. They were all very polite, professional, and highly skilled. The work is quality and excellent. We are extremely pleased.

Came and gave us an estimate the next day. Crew arrived the day after that and completed the repairs quickly.
