PRUDENTIAL SHIMMERING SANDS

This review is only for the property management group at Shimmering Sands Prudential, Panama City Beach. As home owners looking to get a property manager to rent the property we were very unhappy with this group. We tried for several weeks to even get them to respond. We kept trying as we had heard some good things about them. When we finally did get their attention, the only person that was authorized, they said, to talk to a prospective customer, Teresa, finally contacted us and showed up at the wrong time. She did LOTS of talking-- mostly about her ability. Next we reviewed their contract-- beware people! We interviewed 5 property managers and their contracts and can only say, beware paragraph 11- the one that gives them a 6% commission if you sell the home-- or even don't! We wanted to edit this paragraph and others and were told "there will be no changes to the agreement of any kind". We called to discuss and when they did finally respond, we quickly got into a little cat fight. Now we might be too picky and think the owner should be treated like a customer rather than a late tenant, but we've been around the track a few times (and paid some $$ to get a lawyer's read of the agreement) and think you'll agree there's something very wrong at Shimmering Sands.
