EVERLASTING CONCRETE DESIGN & RESURFACING

There were so many issues to even list them all. We did not get the "Cola" color we paid for. It ranges from dark brown to honey wheat to white. There are imprints in the stain where they kept setting a tool down. The base boards were not protected from concrete and stain and are sealed in by concrete in certain areas. We had asked during the pricing estimate if they would remove the base boards, and was told that they would. The kitchen and bathroom where they tore up and refilled new concrete is not level with the existing concrete - also the kitchen has multiple cracks despite the guarantee otherwise. Approximately 8 months later and the flooring in one of the bedrooms is PEELING, revealing the white concrete below! Acid stain does not peel! Paint and acrylic stain peel...

We love our vanity concrete counter-top. Who would have ever thought such a work of art could have come from concrete. The countertop and sink created by Mike was just what we had in mind. The qaulity is the best and cleaning is a breeze. We requested for him to do a very unique design that we couldn't find anywhere else. We had crystals and colored glass added to the counter-top. Mike was able to create the counter-top and keep our budget in line. If your looking for the right contractor for your job and would like one who really listens to what you have in mind. We have recently had our floors done by Everlasting Concrete. Our floors are the talk of the town. All our friends are amazed at what we have done while remodleing our home. Being a new home owner in todays economy has proved to me you must save money where you can. This will cause you to be cautious and very careful as to who you chose to do work on your home. The owner Mike was very helpful in giving us several options to fit our small budget. He was very professional and assisted us through out the whole process from start to finish. He kept in touch with us and completed the job on time. We love our flooring. Thank you Mike and all your crew for the job you did. We plan to be a return customer in the future when we put in new concrete counter tops.

After searching for a local contractor or business to do our flooring, we found Mike with Everlasting Concrete to be honest, knowledgable and friendly. We also found his office staff to be very helpful and his showroom a great help in deciding what to do. Mike and his crew was very professional, showed up on time when expected and finished ahead of schedule. We would recommend him, his crew and office staff to anyone and everyone looking for a concrete contractor that creates what you want and goes beyound your expectations.

The countertops where made to what I ordered and are just what my kitchen needed to up date and bring it into the current times. The job was completed ahead of schedule and with no problems. Mike at Everlasting Concrete answered all my questions and concerns about price, coloring, design and time frames for the job to be completed. I am very happy to have found this honest, perfessional in my local area. His creativness helped my to decide on what to go with and when I visted his awesome show room, The Concrete Encounter, it was truley an pleasure and set my mind to ease. His friendly and helpful staff was something nice to find from someone in the contractor business. Being a business owner myself I value working with a professional who truly cares about the work he does and is thought well of from his staff. It was a great joy to have my countertops done by Mike and his company. I will recommend him to everyone I know who is looking for concrete work to be done.

Day 1 - hits my vehicle with his trailer - I'm still on an insurance hunt down. Day3 - Day 15 or so - The job progresses at snails pace with mix ups, delays, botched granite lines, botched coloring job and no accountability. About Day 15 or so - my cabinent has water damage from the process. No Mike does not appear on the scene - In frustration I make a report to the BBB. That seems to get Mike's attention who calls me to let me know he cannot continue with the work as I have reported to BBB. He's after your deposit money.

Mike, the Owner, was very personable but he does not stand behind his work. Within two weeks of completing his work, the concrete surface began to break up. Despite repeated calls to him to fix it, he was always 'busy' and promised to come out to fix it. He never did. This man lied to me and does not stand behind his work. My pool deck is a shambles and he made no attempt to fix it. I wasted $6 grand on this charlatan. I reported him to the BBB only to find out he has an 'F' rating. My mistake not to check him out before.

The resurfacing had many defects which did not become evident until after I had made my final payment. The new concrete surface delaminated from the underlying surface resulting in cracking and breaking. The contractor was unresponsive to repeated requests to return to fix the problem. I contacted Better Business Bureau only to learn that Everlasting Concrete had an "F" rating. Everlasting Concrete did not respond to the BBB requests for help in solving the problem. I would NEVER use this contractor again. He is un ethical and a fraud.

I called the owner Mike a dozen times over 3 months to have the walkway repaired due to hazing from the sealer. Mike advised on several calls as soon as he completed Pier Park Mall, he would be out to repair. I waited and waited, and called for weeks. Only to have my calls unanswered. Finally I filled a BBB complaint and learned they have an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB for similar issues as well. No reply was given to my complaint through the BBB and my slate walk is still hazy. Nothing I have tried will remove their sealer. I would never use or recommend this company.
