Our Buff Brahma hen, Yokey, had a pendulous crop. She wasn't absorbing food, essentially, because it wasn't moving through her system. Our regular vet (for dogs and cats) recommended Dr. Breeze (who accepts birds as patients). Dr. Breeze explained everything, the techs were phenomenal, and Yokey had surgery. It was a success and our hen did very well for a couple of weeks. Sadly, Yokey ended up with an impacted crop again...for reasons beyond anyone's control. As this was to be a chronic condition, we opted to have Yokey euthanized. Dr. Breeze and her staff were very compassionate, and didn't make me feel dumb for taking a chicken to the vet! We'd definitely use this clinic again. Its location near the Hathaway Bridge makes it pretty convenient, too, for "townies."

It went very well. We go back May 15, 2014 for a follow-up. Very knowledgeable and gave alot of good advice. He has a skin/allergy problem that has gotten very bad. She (Dr. Web) answered every question I asked. They seemed to know and care more about what was going on with my dog than the other places I've taken him to. They did a skin and blood test. The Technician that worked with us was also very knowledgeable. I have recommended them to Friends.

They have not shown much concern about our cat. I was there without her and I thought they would have at least asked how she was doing. They had forgotten to give us some of the supplies such as the syringes that we had asked about when we were paying. They said they didn't know anything about them. Later they called back but didn't leave a message. We called the number back not knowing who it was and what it was about; they said they had found the missing supplies. I had to go back and pick them up. It hasn't been a great experience. I had been them 6 to 7 years ago so I thought that's where we were going to go but once our cat gets through this initial period we are not going to go back. They were punctual and they went through the motions of what they were supposed to do. We didn't compare their prices.
