Animal Care Center & Beaches Pet Resort

Sandy and Spotty our Lab and Jack Russell stayed there 10 days Dec. 2017 while we vacationed. It was our 3rd stay there for long periods. They treated us and our Dogs with respect and took great care of them. We definitely will use them again. What is most important they have the only 24/7 emergency Vets on the beach. We used another boarding before finding Beaches Resort and returned home to find Sandy and Scruffy with kennel cough really bad and we were on a cruise so no phone calls and no meds given. It was horrible returning to that and I let the other boarder know how horrible they were. Thank God for Animal Care Center and Beaches Pet resort they will be watching our Babies everytime we vacation. Plus they keep them together and bath them before you pick them up if you request it. Thank you again Beaches Pet Resort.

Took my 4 pound 4 year old Chihuahua to them on July 5th about 6pm. He was very weak and wouldn't eat or drink he had developed a sore on his back end and neck. They ran blood work and insisted on keeping him for three nights to run more test and x-rays. I never heard from the doctor or the clinic but Called every day to check on peanut and was told one day he was doing better the next day he was a little lethargic. I was told they want to keep him a little longer to continue to monitor and run test. On Sunday evening my husband called and was told Peanut is doing great. He can be picked up. Every time I called to check on Peanut. Not once did a doctor called me. Every time I called I never spoke with a doctor. I called Monday morning to set up a time to pick him up and was told the doctor wanted me to come in and look at him. OH MY GOSH! When I got there and saw Peanut around 12:30. He looked horrific. He had developed several more sores He was shaved every spot he had a sore. I wish could upload pictures for everyone to see. That is not the worse part of it. The worse part is when I asked the doctor what was wrong. His response was "we have no clue". I asked it was contagious to other dogs. Doctors response was I don't think it is??? If you don't know what it is then how do you know when it is contagious?? I will NEVER use this vet again. I honestly think they are only there for the money. $2024.00 later and no answer as to what is wrong with Peanut. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

They were wonderful with, and very good with him. He stayed overnight. They are an emergency service. If I'm not mistaken I thing they are 24 hours. They have a Vet on hand all the time. They were wonderful.

Our dogs Sandy and Scruffy were dropped off by us and seemed excited. One lab and one dachshund. They boarded them together and when we returned to get them they seemed really well taken care of and happy. Our Dachshund had seizures prior to our trip and we were worried about him. They assured us not to worry. He was well taken care of and seemed really happy when we picked them up. I plan on using these great people again and appreciated how well they looked after our pets. Being the only emergency Vets in the area is also a plus boarding them there in case something would happen they are right there. Our Dogs are our children and when they are happy we are happy. Our Dachshund Scruffy has passed away this year and broke our heart but we know he is in Heaven and the time he spent at this Animal Care center he loved. Thank you again for caring about them and we look forward to our visit.

It's $30-something a day for a week. They're very good. They're friendly. They're on time. They get us in when we need to get in and they're very professional. They know what they're doing. They're expensive but I'm assuming all veterinarians are.

We use their veterinary services and gave the grooming a try. very good and good price.

Very well. We liked the Doctor, facility clean, staff very friendly and provide good information.

The people at ACC were professional and very caring. They kept me informed and up to date on my pet's progress in what turned out to be a three day ordeal. Morgan, Matt, and Dr McClelland treated us like long time clients, not a walk in.

Excellent. Very thorough. Gave us a very comprehensive report for their yearly exams. They even sent my dog a birthday card.

I see Dr. Mclelland. It's our puppy's vet center and they are phenomenal. They saved her life. Anytime there's an emergency her doctor is on call for her 24 hours, 7 days a week. There's not other veterinarian that takes on call and that's just phenomenal. It's a good place. They have a boarding facility that I may try. They have TVs, beds, toys and all that stuff. They have a grooming center. My vet is so thorough that anything he does he'll let me know how much it's going to cost. There are no surprises whatsoever. The technician James is the one she has. Everybody just loves what she does. It's awesome. When I moved into the area, I did a computer research and found this place. When she was in with the emergency they kept her over night and they called two or three times a day to tell me how she was. They follow through excellently. I'm paying for quality service and quality equipment and it is a little pricey. It's fine for me. I would continue to take her there.
