Mr. Silva is a highly competent plumber who quickly diagnoses problems and solves them correctly the first time. This is the third time I have utilized his services. The invoice for the work he performed today was a very reasonable $170 for over two hours of careful, thorough work.
The first time we utilized him was in July 2010, two months after we moved into our home. At that time we were noticing unpleasant smells near two of the four bathrooms in our newly renovated home that also had a brand new septic tank system installed. I should mention that all of the plumbing fixtures, including the sinks, toilets, pipes, showers, and baths had been replaced during the renovation and had passed inspection by the village. After having four plumbers visit and fail to identify the cause of the problem, Mr. Silva immediately went to work and found that the traps for the sinks in two of the full baths were either absent or had not been installed properly. Furthermore, he rapidly identified several other plumbing problems and successfully addressed them in a short period of time. I also utilized his services in May 2013 when he repaired a leak under the kitchen sink; he also cleaned out the drains in two bathroom sinks.
Mr. Silva is a professional master plumber who is very skilled at identifying problems and solving them rapidly and who charges a reasonable fee, especially considering that he is located in Pampano Beach, FL, some distance from Miami Shores. Mr. Silva is a very pleasant, personable, and trustworthy individual who explains what problems he has encountered and what he needs to do to repair them. His truck is full equipped with the materials and tools to accomplish the job. He does his work carefully, and, if anything, leaves the site cleaner that he found it. Furthermore, Mr. Silva is very responsive when we call or e-mail him. The main problem he solved today was initially reported on Saturday afternoon, January 11, and following communication with his wife, Val, who handles the scheduling of his work, he arrived at our home on time at about 2 pm this afternoon, Monday, January 13, 2014.
