We had Albright and a handful of other companies come out to quote us for re-sodding our backyard (over 6000 square feet). Ultimately, Albright was neither the least or most expensive but the sales guy was helpful and we also wanted some simple landscaping done as well and it was convenient because Albright also did landscaping and some of the other companies did not. Overall, we were very happy with the backyard and felt they had done a good, quality job when removing the old sod, preparing the area and then laying new sod. We had them come back out for a paver job and some front yard landscaping. Again the sales guy was helpful but when the job was actually completed we learned the landscaping he had suggested wasn’t really ideal as some of it died within days. I also found issues with the pavers. Matt, the owner, was very understanding when he and the guys came back out to our house to fix the job. He agreed the job had not been done to his standards and he went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure we were happy. Many other companies would have ignored our calls and not made an effort to come back to fix the work because they had already gotten payment. I feel confident that Matt genuinely cares to ensure quality and thorough work is done, that he cares about his customers, and their satisfaction with Albright’s work!

Planting of plants was ok, but the mulch turned out to be recyled instead of bagged. Unfortunately recycled includes not only mulch but other assorted trash--not the look I want in my landscape. They ran out of mulch before beds were complete although I could see a couple more wheel barrow fulls remaining in truck. They were in a hurry to get to next job. The only shrubbery trimmed was in the front and hedgers were used. Very disappointed. Don't believe verbal promises only what appears on estimate.

This is an update to my previous review. When they put the sun roses in the embankment that collects rain water I asked several times if the plants would survive when it rained and the embankment filled with water. I was told it would. I was also told that within about 6 weeks the plants would spread and I would not need to weed.
Three months later, plants where getting dry rot from the rain. They were replaced. Still having to weed all time.
July 2015 receiving lots of rain embankment is full of water. Embankment drains then more rain and more rain in Aug. I have been in touch with the company to come back when the rain stops.
September after repeated calls I finally have someone come out. Agrees the plants are rotted. Says will put back Bahia grass at cost. With all the rain there was no Bahia until Sep. The first time it was to be replace he said they gave it away so he had to wait for more.
Comes back and takes out plants and replaces with Bahia. Only able to savage about 6 plants out of about 90 I purchased.
They only guarantee their plants for 3 months. Lowe's and Home Depot guarantee their plants for 1 year.
I called around to see how much the Bahia was going to cost me. Prices ranged from $90 to $115 for a pallet, which is what I needed.
After it was replace I was told it would cost $300. I informed them I know it cost at most $115, which I ended up paying as that it was agreed I would only pay for the cost of the grass.
I paid over $800.00 for the original work with the plants and now another $115.00 to replace the Bahia they took out.
I believed since this was their job and with their experience they knew what they were doing.
They should have offered some time of refund for as much money as I spent. I wanted to give the young man an opportunity, but he still has a lot to learn.
I recommended him to my neighbor and the plants he recommend to my neighbor died and the stepping stones he put in are now lope sided.
would not hire this company again. They do not back up the work they do with a good guarantee. They should guarantee their plants and work for 1 year, especially with the rainy season.
I did not want to give this review, but I felt they offered me no other choice, especially after I was told one price and then he tried to triple the price. I lost my trust in the company.

Kimberley came by on October 8th as requested and arrived on time at 10am. She walked with my Husband and I around our entire yard and we explained in detail everything we wanted done. She is very knowledgeable and very professional. She measured our yard and called and got prices for everything we requested and let us know that they had a job that was cancelled for the following day and asked if we were interested in having the work done then. Having dealt with 2 other Landscaping companies and the time delays we had with them I jumped at the opportunity! The price was right, the knowledge was there, so we said sure! We were told the guys we be out between 7:30 and 8:00 am and when I woke up at 7:45 they were out front getting started. Every single thing I asked for was done, and it was done perfectly!!! Above and beyond what I expected and I am a VERY picky person when it comes to my yard. Dan, his 2 Sons and the other guys were very polite and professional and completed the work in a very timely manner. I would HIGHLY recommend Albright Landscaping! (Just a side note......I had sent an e-mail on Sunday afternoon and Lisa got back to me within less than an hour. This to me says a ton about running a business.) We have always strived for 100% customer satisfaction. Sometimes that does unfortunately mean a call-back, which we are prepared and professional when providing. Regarding the garbage left around the job-site, there is no excuse. The crew typically clears away all garbage during the finishing touches of the project. I have spoken to them to ensure that this will change to cleaning their lunch and drink messes immediately after they are done. I do regret that you were unhappy with the prices. Overall, went well. Tried to address concerns as came up. Was not pleased on first day when learned sales person had not shown us the right sample boarders and had to make a choice of material we did not plan on. We are pleased with the look. Someone did not secure a sprinkler system valve and it was left on for over one day. Very responsive to our call once we identified and could not get it to shut off. We wanted to have pavers installed but $22,000 was a little more then we planned on. Because of reassurrances of how good the front driveway and walkpath would look, we went with pressure cleaning and sealing them. I wish we had not done that as too many imperfections showed up and although the driveway looks brighter the walkpath has a lot of unattractive marks in it and discoloration. For additional money they could paint the area or install pavers. We haven't decided what we will do. We are very happy with the landscaping, the sprinkler system and the pressure cleaning of our deck and dock.

Very knowledgable and experienced. Started work less than a week later. Had a big crew of workers on hand whom collaborated well and got the job done in three days. Workers were punctual and cleaned up well. Amazing transformation. Somewhat pricey, but landscaping isn't cheap or easy. They put a lot of pride in their work.

We are EXTREMELY happy with the results. Albright staff were professional, prompt, courteous. They took an amazing pride in their work, returning to ensure all everything they planted was thriving (which it is). I'm thrilled with my new garden path, patio, grass, and ground cover. We replaced some of our grass with ground cover as we have a dog that had destroyed part of the yard by running through it. I asked them to build a cage around the new plants to protect them from the dog while the ground cover takes root. They did this with no issues.
They did all of the above work when we were out of the country. No one needed to supervise their work or had to fuss at them about timeliness. They showed up on time, did their job very well.
They weren't the cheapest landscapers I've had give me a quote, but they were far from the most expensive. I would say their rates were very competitive for the work we had done.
I will be using them to re-landscape my mother's property next.

Our experience was excellent. We were referred by another Angie's List provider who suggested we contact them, I did a Google search and found their website and completed the contact us page on the site early on a Monday morning. I was called a little while later that same day and arranged an appointment for at the end of the day that same Monday. Dan (the owner) came to the house to meet me to go over the job. We discussed everything that we wanted removed and provided him a fairly flushed out plan of what we had in mind. We knew what plants and palm trees we wanted and where the beds and plants would be placed, we even provided them a plan that we had mocked up to show him our ideas. Dan took about 30 minutes taking measurements, reviewing our plan, and drew up a full itemized estimate right there on the spot.
My wife and I reviewed the proposal, did some on-line research as to the price of the plants, etc. and the next day contacted them saying we wanted to go forward with the work. We were told the job would take about 2 days. This surprised us, the other two companies we contacted said the removal aspect would take several days, possibly longer than a week, because they had a small crew and would need to service their existing customers. We were also surprised because the line item for removing all of our existing landscaping was $2800, the others we talked to quoted as much as $3600. Albright said the like to stay on one job from start to finish. During the call to say we wanted to go forward Dan asked, "well great, how's Thursday?" I answered, "the day after tomorrow Thursday?" He said, "yeah."
The crew was at the house on Thursday morning right on time, two trucks, about 8 or so crew members, and all the tools they needed to completely demo the existing landscape and the new plants and palms. Our original landscaping was planted 18 years ago, by 2pm that afternoon it was completely gone and hauled away. Our existing irrigation system was repaired and retrofitted to the new plans needs. At the end of the day, the crew cleaned up everything before leaving home for the evening, blowing off all the sidewalks and taking every bit of debris from that day's work.
They were right back at it on Friday and began with planting the new plants, palm trees and bamboo screening. By 3pm the entire job was complete. Beds were planted, mulch was laid, new sod was placed. They even pressure washed the sidewalks and driveway. We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Albright to our neighbors and other Angie's List Members.

Dan and team were fantastic today. Dan and I spoke a couple of times in person earlier and the week and the team was out to do the job right away. I am extremely happy with the results, and even though two sprinkler lines were broken during the process, the Albright team fixed them right away without extra cost before I even got home
I am looking forward to working with Albright for all my landscaping needs, and barring any issues with the system, I would recommend them to everyone in the Tampa Bay area who needs a quality company who won't cut corners and who cares about the customer first.

They were okay, I thought they were expensive. They still had a few issues after they were done. The sprinklers weren't working right and the lights were having a few issues. It is all taken care of now. It was kind of pricey.

Craig called back and said he had a crew who could take care of it that very afternoon. So his crew of four men showed up and the job was complete in I think an hour and a half. I was done efficiently and neatly. I was not a member of Angie's List in 2004, but the drain was put in during those heavy hurricane years and I have not been sorry. It is doing the job.

The showed on time as promised and started work promply at 8am. They had a crew of 5 men which made the job go much smoother and rapidly. They did everything they promised finally ending around 3PM in the afternoon. The whole yard looked great after they completed their work.
