cell phone service
 + -1 morewe need to demand from our politicians that laws are enacted to protect the consumer...
Description of Work: I have a verizon contract with an "droid" phone. I have had this for one year. Tonight the phone "died" that is, the screen went blank. I went to the Palm Harbor FL Verizon store to hopefully get a replacement. BY the way I have insurance. HA. To replace the defective phone it cost me $150 & another 2 years in contract!!!!!!! Legal robbery... If the company Verizon sells the service shouldn't they be responsible for the equipment too? The other issue is the personnel... The person Dan was rude & inpatient becasue I was asking why should I have to pay when the equipment they sold was of poor quality... After much jargon I ended up paying 150 & extending the contract ... don't we get it? we are better off in a 3rd world country; at least in those environments we already know we don't have rights. This verizon "deal" is a mask for sham... And most if not all cell phone companies must have paid off many politicians to get sweet deals such as these. what happened to ethical comportment? shame on us...
