She was very good. She teaches for her day job. Now, when she teaches math, she has cut-outs of circles and has them cut up so people can get an idea of fractions. You do have homework and stuff and she looks at it. Truly, she is very good.

Our grandson had failed his first 3 years of high school Algebra I and II and starting his senior year it become apparent that he would fail again and this would not allow him to continue on with his dream of becoming a firefighter/paramedic.
We researched several tutoring services on the internet and through Angie's List we found that Seeds Of Knowledge Tutoring was privately owned and operated by a teacher. After a conference with her we decided this would be the best place for him to get all the help he needed to pass Algebra. His grades in ALL of his courses went up each grading period from D and F to a B average.
Our grandson never missed a session, he liked Jennifer and she has been able to bring out the best in him.
We are grateful for the interest and teaching she has done and would recommend her to anyone that needs a good tutor of any age child.

We have been very happy with Jennifer of Seeds of Knowledge. We brought our child there initially when we felt more or better math instruction was needed, and comfort level and familiarity with the material (and standardized test scores) improved quickly. We now rely on Jennifer to support us in homeschooling our child, and she has the years of experience and depth of knowledge to make sure all bases are covered, from grammar, to math, to science. She has been accommodating of our schedule and communication, feedback, and information about progress all have been good. I do highly recommend her.

It never went because the provider declined to return attempts at contact. Not even a call or e-mail to say 'we have too many clients' at this time, just ignored me.

"I apologize for not getting back to you in September. I had a death in the family, and was away from home for most of the month. I do acknowledge that I should have turned on an auto-response 'Out of Office' email, but I simply forgot to set it up before leaving to be with my family. When I returned, I tried to return all of the emails that I had received, but apparently, I missed yours. I am sorry. I would be happy to talk to you about your tutoring needs now, if you would like. Thank you."

My daughter's math skills have improved tremendously. She has gained more confidence in solving problems as well learning new areas in math that are not yet covered in school. We will continue to use for math and other subjects as well/

The tutor was on time and utilized the time well. Her instructions were clear. She taught me math techniques I wish I'd known years ago.

Jennifer has helped my daughter get caught up in algebra, and helped her understand it better. My daughter has gone from getting D's and F's on her tests to B's. Jennifer has made algebra more enjoyable and the concepts easier.

"Thank you, Member! I enjoyed working with your daughter! It was wonderful to watch her confidence skyrocket throughout the year!! (Note: There is a typo in the review. The charge was $48.00 for ONE AND ONE-HALF hours, not one half, as written.)"

For my student, who doesn't like math, to tell me," she enjoyed her math sessions with Ms.Young." Speaks volumes. Our family lives on a pretty tight budget. Paying for private tutoring is to us, an expense that we seriously weighed if we should spend the money on. Our student was having problems passing the math portion of the SAT and ACT so we felt we didn't have a choice. I can honestly say, worth every penny! I'd do it again and again...money well spent..no invested is a better term. I have been telling all my friends how brilliant this tutor is. She actually connects to her students and teaches a customized curriculum that caters to them. This in turn makes learning enjoyable and gives them the tools they need to be confident in what they learned and retain the information. We will be keeping her card handy...I have other children.

"Member, Thank you so much, not only for the kind words, but for the THREE (and counting) other clients that were directly referred by you! Your positive word-of-mouth is wonderful!"
