Everyday the crew arrived early and busted their butt for several days straight! They did a great job with the flooring and baseboard replacements. Some drywall damage in a couple spots that we weren't notified of but I was able to repair. Besides the captioned drywall repair the company was great and did a fantastic job!

I highly recommend RCI Flooring! I called three Angie's List flooring companies for quotes, RCI was the fastest and best value for the money. They worked around my schedule and the project was finished early and on budget with no surprises. The entire team from quote, inistall and project management was stellar! Excellent communication and I would definitely use them again.

The job went great.  Robert and his assistant installed the tile flooring on the first day, then grouted it the next day.  They did a beautiful job, were very professional and didn't even take any breaks while doing the job.  Robert was very helpful in giving me information, so I could make the best decision on how I wanted the tile laid.  I would definitely recommend RCI and their installers, if you need any type of flooring project completed.

I highly recommend RCI flooring!  We are highly demanding and critical on contractors, and I'm telling you that RCI does spectacular work.  RCI is a smaller business that provides the personal touch that larger companies cannot.  We weren't thrilled with anything that we had found in other stores, and had received little valuable help before RCI.  Tabatha greeted us and paid attention to the tiles that we were drawn to.  After a few minutes she casually began asking about the colors in our house, and started offering suggestions. Before we new it, we had AWESOME samples and were heading home to check them out.  Chris came next to give us a bid.  He too had great ideas, and was extremely professional.  At this point there was no doubt that RCI was a 1st class company.  The price was little higher than a few competitors, but they were in the ballpark.  The installers came on schedule, cleaned every day before going home, completed the job on time, and produced outstanding work.

The demolition crew showed up Tuesday morning with no notice at all.  I had provided possible dates, but asked to be contacted well in advance because I work from home.  I told them I would only be willing to rearrange my schedule if I had assurance the products were in hand and the job would be finished the following day.  I called and was told just that so I allowed the tear-out.  A few hours later, I got a call from RCI saying they were having problems on another job and would need to postpone.  I told them that was not acceptable (since my flooring was already gone) and that they would need to rearrange.  I got a call back a few hours later saying that the installers would be here at 1:00.  Nobody showed, so I called again.  This time they said they were waiting for the truck with the materials - which I was told were already there.  It was 4:00 pm before they even started the job and then it was left unfinished.  Then they showed me the quarter round.  The colors were completely wrong.  Chris finally arrived and insisted that I approved a dark pine and bright white (when my baseboards are a light pickled oak and my cabinets are cream).  We had no choice but to match the flooring instead, which looks a little silly, but better than the alternative.  They installed the quarter round before I figured out that it is not even wood.  The floor also had pretty big gaps between the planks - a problem in a kitchen.  All in all, it was a bad experience.  We paid them, but will never use them or recommend them in the future.  I do not know how they have an A rating on this list.  If you choose to try them, check the materials in person before allowing tear-out.

P.S. A couple days after they installed the flooring, we discovered that there were hollow areas throughout the floor.  They had to return to drill holes and pump glue into over 30 areas.  In addition, they broke one of the flooring strips and patched it rather than replaced it during the installation.  We are extremely unhappy.

The finished product looks and works fine. There were delays due to running wiring to the combo fan/light, which required more drywall work than anticipated. Also, the plumber in the crew messed up the install of the shower valve. He was let go and the general contractor had to redo the faulty work, which took more time. What was planned as a one week job ended uptaking twice that long. Michael Piguet, the "crew chief", was responsive re. the problems and apologized for the delays.

After a 3 week delay in getting the wood, the company installed the wood in 2 days.  Had I known about the wood not being available, I would not have signed the contract.  Buyer beware.  It took a bit of negotiation to get them to schedule the installation when I was available.  They came back after I complained of a "soft spot" next to a transition piece and fixed it to my satisfaction.  Other than lack of communication I found them to be reliable and professional.  I wish they had been more selective with the wood pieces and not used the very light boards in noticeable places, and had not used pieces with defects in the coating.

They are 75-80% done. The work has been okay. The quote process was very good. They are very easy to work with. We got the quote in mid-June. Their estimate was good and that is what they charged.

From the moment I walked through the door of the showroom, I was impressed with RCI.  Anne promptly greeted me and asked what type of product I was looking for.  Even though I pretty much had my mind made up that I wanted hardwood flooring, she suggested other alternatives that would work with my tastes and budget.

Chris gave me a very detailed estimate and explained issues that I never would have thought to ask about.  After giving RCI the go-ahead, Anne provided a day and time for the installation to begin.  The 3-man crew was very punctual and got to work immediately.  They didn't even take a break for lunch!  Robert, the man in charge, is a perfectionist and will spend whatever amount of time required to make certain the result is perfect.
When I decide to have the carpeting in the rest of the house replaced with hardwood, I will definitely contact RCI again.  Their work
ethic and product quality is top notch.
