Really great work from Powell Construction. Mr. Powell stopped out several times during the job to ensure things were going well. Workers did fine work, were kind and professional. Work involved drywall tear out, hanging, refinishing and painting. All work done very, very well.

My telephone call was promptly answered. I sent Mr. Powell via email a drawing of the item which needed to be constructed. Mr. Powell, not wishing to leave anything to chance, decided to make a home visit and confirm the dimensions I submitted by making his own measurements. Construction completed within a week and delivered promptly. Passed inspection by the Inspector General of this house (she who must be obeyed).

Estimated cost was a satisfactory amount. Work begun and finished as requested and promised. Workmanship excellent.

I thought that their bid was a little bit high, so I went with another one. They conducted themselves professionally and did a thorough estimate. I would probably not consider them if I needed something else done.

Bob Powell came highly recommended to me from my Realtor. My purchased condominium had a closed galley style kitchen and breakfast nook. Once I had a good idea of what needed to be done, Bob's price was much better than other estimates I received. We made some modifications to the plan once the work was started that added a bit of cost to the project. The electrical estimate Bob provided was an allowance. The actual electrical work was a few hundred dollars higher. Bob communicates very well by either email and/or telephone. He is extremely professional and uses reputable subs to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Bob for any remodeling effort. Bottom line is that Bob Powell provided great value for the work completed.

Bob is professional and prompt; he provided almost daily updates by phone or e-mail on progress. The subcontractors were all experienced and helpful. Even the county inspector said "You got one of the good ones". There is a minor problem with one of the gutters with the heavy rain. I e-mailed Bob one day and he responded within 24 hours and will be out next week to fix the problem.

Their price was excellent and the work was excellent. I highly recommend them!

This included adding windows and doors as well as other things within the house.
