Matt showed up within about 8 minutes and went straight to work on the sides of the pool. I went out to thank him and he was oh so humble and appreciated my accolades (spell?). He added shock powder to the pool and had the entire pool cleaned within about 15 minutes. It would have caused Phil and I much pain to our backs and would have taken at least half a day or more and then would have taken 2-3 trips to the chiropractor to feel better!!

Matt, to us, is our Hero and I told him so. The fact that he squeezed us in tonight out of the goodness of his heart!!!

Everyone at this Pinch A Penny are absolutely the most friendly, courteous and caring people I've ever seen in the retail business!!! Carey, the owner, should win some kind of an award for hiring such caring people - each and every single one! They all treat you like YOU are the most important customer they have.

Our pool pump was running but just blowing bubbles instead of water. Coincidentally it started right after my husband had cleaned the filter. He called Pinch a Penny on East Lake Road and they first suggested he try to and quot;primeand quot; the pump, thinking maybe that would fix the problem and save us a service charge. We really appreciated this suggestion which could have saved us the trip charge. However, it turned out there was actually leaks in the drain plug and the intake pipe. The work was done promptly at a fair price.

We have been using Pinch A Penny for 11 years and have had very good experiences with their assistance in keeping our pool sparkling clean. Over the years, we have purchased a gas pool heater, a replacement Barracuda, replacement pool pump and all our self-service pool cleaning supplies. We have been very happy with the value and quality of service.

The motor was being noisy. They came out and gave me an estimate. They came out in about 4 days. It has been working well and is nice and quiet. They were very professional.

They kept changing dates for service. We have to leave our gate open when we know they're to show up. Because they kept changing dates when we weren't home so the gate wasn't open and they would just leave. We would even be home sometimes and they didn't even bother to ring the door bell. They also added chemicals we did not request and would charge us for them. Because they kept changing our service dates the work would get put off in result to a black stain forming on the bottom of the pool.
