+ -1 morePhernell does an okay job. I've found that some of the guys don't really go above and beyond in certain areas, but for the most part they do alright. If there is an issue or if you ask them to do something reasonable while they are there, most of the time they will do it. The only issues that I've run into is that he is sometimes hard to get in touch with, because his number is his home number (his kids are on the answering machine if you call) and if he's out working, he won't get the message until later in the day. He did have a cell phone, but I'm not sure what happened to that.
Description of Work: Phernell and his team mows, edges, weed-eats, and blows our lawn weekly. Since our back yard isn't very large, he usually just takes the weed-eater and cuts it. Also, he only charges for the weeks that he does your lawn, so if your lawn didn't need anything for 1 week out of 4, then you are only charged for 3. He will usually leave an invoice for the month, so you pay monthly. He doesn't require any contracts, but does ask that you give 30 days notice for cancellations. I will say that he does many homes in our neighborhood, including 7 on our street of 16 homes.
