Paul Hauls Moving & Storage

I orginally called several moving companies recieved a quote intitially for a 3 hour job, at $159.00 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. The price was a bit higher but I decided it would be less risky to go with Paul based on the revies After I booked the job and recieved the confirmation email (see attachment) for a job that was scheduled Late morning. When I spoke with the owner he said 11-12ish on the phone. The movers did not arrive until 1:45pm, the job took about 2 hours but because of the rain there was about a 35 min delay. However I was billed for 3.75 hours at $638.00, I thought this was a clerical error. I called Paul after the move Saturday and got a text that he would follow up Monday. Then on Wednesday when I had not heard back I called again and sent an email. I got an email reply that he would get back to me by the end of day Thursday. I waited until 4pm and called a third time. I was told that I also have to pay the drive time for him to drive to and from the location which was "about an hour". I explained that on the phone, in email, or when they called to confirm the job this was never explained. He said "sorry it's a new guy, and he can send me all the other work orders he has". I said this was not accetable I would like to be refunded for the additional $159.00 that was literally never explained. After 3 phone calls Pauls answer was "its fine file your dispute, I'll just fire all 3 guys for you and then hung up the phone". The movers actually did a great job, just hope that nothing goes wrong because Paul is extremely rude and after he has your money doesn't seem to care. Must be why this is a cash only business.

Rude, inconsiderate of other people's time, and don't know how to do basic math. They have charged me 14.5 hours to do a 9 hour move. Movers were rude and loud, no communication, and now that I need them to fix what they messed up, I see it's not just the movers- the entire company has that snarky typical white privilege entitlement type of attitude. It blows my mind how not smart people are. In addition, they broke my punch bowl set, lied and said it was already like that when they got there. I helped pack, inspected, and locked the storage unit myself, nothing was broken when I left it. Considering they've been in business so long, I expected better.

We stored everything out of our 3 bed 3 bath townhome with them for a year. Everything was new when it went to their storage. When we received our belongings a year later it all have water damage. We tried to negotiate with them to no avail. They were rude and now unresponsive. Do NOT store with them.

Exceptional experience from beginning to end. On time and very careful with our furniture. No dings, dent or scratches. Highly recommend Paul Hauls.

We have used Paul Hauls several times in the past for other family members and the service and professionalism has always been top-notch.  This time it was our turn to move.  Paul has an excellenet process he uses to handle a move.  He prepared us with a few calls prior to the move to make sure we were ready, offering advice on how we should prepare to make the move more smooth.  He even brought some wardrobe boxes when we were short.

They arrived on-time on moving day and as always all of the crew numbers were very respectful and personable.  These guys worked hard and took very few breaks.  They had the house moved and unloaded by 3pm!  It was truly amazing especially since I moved into a townhouse with multiple floors.

You can't ask for a better price or moving experience!

I can't say enough nice things about Paul Hauls Moving.  I received a call the morning of the move to confirm that the movers were en route to our home.  The movers arrived within the time-frame that was promised and went straight to work.  The movers were very professional and made us aware of every detail involved in our move.  They went above and beyond to ensure that our move went smoothly and without any hiccups.  We had a treadmill that was assembled and super heavy and not only did the movers make it possible to get it through the door of our new home, once inside, they carried it to our second story and reassembled it!  We also received contact from the home office throughout the day to confirm that the move was going well and to ensure our needs were being met.  The owner also personally called us after our move was completed to thank us for our business and ensure we were satisfied. Would definitely use this business again and highly recommend to others!

I will hire them again and I will recommend them to family and friends!!!!

Not replying to calls or emails. Have reached the past 2 days and still no word. I have a deadline to meet and they are unresponsive.

The movers showed up on time. They were very professional in loading and taking care to keep the furniture undamaged. The unloading went well. Both movers were very courteous. The cost was reasonable and I would definitely recommend them.

Very efficient and punctual movers! They arrive clean and ready to work. My daughter had 2 complicated moves where her furniture had to be hoisted over a second floor balcony and they accomplished this with ease. Great guys!

Much professionalism and patience shown in moving my 91 year old father. He was very impressed that this was the first moving company he has seen where the drivers were conscientious enough with their parking not to impose on other condo residents. Although we provided list of items to be moved, there were many changes along the way. They were prompt, courteous and careful. We have given Paul's business card to our realtor and recommended she share with others. HIghly recommend this company.

This firm is fair and very professional. They did a great job moving our things in a courteous and professional manner. They take great care moving everything and communicated well throughout the process.

They were excellent. They hustled and did not waste any time. We were 100% all-around satisfied with their work. They were not expensive, but very reasonable. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

I initially wrote a review and gave this provider an and quot;Fand quot; review. The reason being that I had asked for an estimate and he got back to me a week later and told me he was too busy to do the job.
The provider called me and informed me that the week I had asked for an estimate, he had some unfortunate things happen to a key employee and also a situation of his own that particular week and that was running behind. It happens to all of us.
I would like to remove the F rating. As I stated in my first review, he was polite when he called to explain he could not do the job. I like to support local business and I would call him again for an estimate should the need arise.

I can't say enough good things about Paul Hauls. Paul Vios himself talked with me and quoted the job over the phone. His two people met my husband and I with a truck and all the equipment needed for the move, including blankets to cover the furniture. Some of our furniture is family heirloom, and the employees were exceedingly careful with everything. It was loaded and secured very professionally onto the truck, then at our condo it was all unloaded just as carefully and placed just where we wanted it. These guys knew what they were doing, they worked very hard, and we were impressed. Paul and his son also stopped by to assist, and it is obvious that he keeps a close eye on his business. To think that we actually considered renting a U-Haul and doing this ourselves! I wouldn't hesitate to use Paul Hauls again.

As a former professional mover I was impressed by Paul's service. Paul called himself to confirm the move and the items to be moved. His move team called to update me on the status and time of their arrival. I had two movers and one truck and they worked steadily with no interruption. All items were moved without damage from a two story townhouse to a single level home.
What really caught me was the workers have been working with Paul for over six years and said they enjoy their work and have fun with it. The two guys (I can't remember their names. I believe one was Ron ?????) worked exceptional as a team.
After the move was complete they asked me to walk in the truck to confirm that all items have been removed and nothing was left behind. A nice end to the move.
I would recommend Paul Haul's to anyone looking for a mover who will get the job done and not damage your belongings. GREAT JOB!!

Was referred to this company by a close friend who had an excellent experience with them last year. I used the online estimate feature on their website and Paul called me the next day to go over the details. Received an estimate and continued to compare pricing and companies. While Paul Hauls Moving was not the least expensive, he was quite competitive and exceptionally professional over the phone. Booked the move about 7-10 days in advance. Moving truck and crew arrived on time and handled all our belongings with care. We packed our own boxes so we were ready to go when they got to our home. The job was completed on schedule and under budget - best of all everything arrived at our new location in perfect condition.

Paul was great to work with in every capacity. He was very flexible on timing of the packing and moving. The packing team (Kim and Sean) did a great job and we were able to unpack everything with no damage at all. The moving team (Raphael, Greg, Billy, and Rob) were very courteous and professional. They worked extremely hard all day and we were able to load, drive, and unload in less than 8 hours. They placed every piece of furniture exactly where we asked them and rebuilt all bed frames and mattress sets. They moved us into a two story house with a detached 2nd story apartment without damaging any of our walls, paint, door frames or possessions. At all times they were polite and helpful to both my wife and I as we changed our minds on furniture placement.
I would definitely refer Paul to anyone looking to move!
