Called provider and was told he would call back by end of day, he never returned the call.  We have found another provider who is much more professional.

Showed up promptly and offered several options for my needs.  On the service date, I was expecting 1 person and instead got 4!  With a very professional attitude, they jumped right on the job.  I went inside to answer a phone call, and when I returned, they were almost finished!  Great job,great attitudes and very helpful all around.  I highly recommend them.

Rocky was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. We knew nothing about landscaping and he pretty much knew everything. He guided us through the who,e process and we are extremely pleased with the end result.

Palm Harbor Nursery was very helpful in resolving our tree removal permit situation.
We recently bought a Clearwater home that had two huge trees in the backyard causing root damage so we had them removed with are permit requiring replacement with one shade tree. Because of the small nature and limited space of the entire yard we were struggling to find a species of shade tree that wouldn't get too big. With Rocky's advice we decided to go with two accent trees as permitted by the city. He worked with us and the city inspector to identify 2 trees that were just below the required specifications but approved by the city inspector because of the quality of specimens involved.
With a deposit, they held these trees for about 5 weeks while we had some grading work done. When we notified them of being ready they installed the trees within 2 days.
We are very happy with these two specimen trees and when we are ready to landscape the rest of the yard, we'll be going back to Palm Harbor nursery.

All the plants are thriving.

The women spends time helping you with getting texture, design and compatible plants together. I have landscape experience, so it helps get to the point. They are limited with labor, so you should have an idea what you are doing before you take up their time. THe plants are usually more established in their containers as opposed to buying from the big box nurseries. This makes for quicker results once they are removed from the pots and living happily in the ground. They now carry pottery as well.

We had just moved to the Tampa Bay area from N. Carolina, and needed to get some plants for our yard. As new residents, we were uncertain about plants and gardening in this area. The personnel, including the owner of the nursery were extremely helpful in selecting plants and especially in when and where to plant them - to the extent of discouraging us from buying some plants that we were interested in, even though it meant a smaller sale. Also, their prices were extremely reasonable.

They were good, but seemed more expensive than I expected. They called me back when they said they would. I was looking for a whole sale price, but they were more into retail business. I will consider using them in future.

We needed to "match" a double roebellini (already in our yard) with another one. We had looked up nurseries on Angies List and realized we needed to do our research before just going to any nursery to pick out the tree. We liked the rating on Palm Harbor Nursery, so we checked out thier inventory and found the perfect tree. They delivered and installed it within 4 days. Rocky and his crew showed up early and within 30 minutes had the job done! Everyone was very friendly and we were never made to feel as though our job was too small. We are most definately going to use them when we get to our backyard landscaping project.

I visited this location on three occasions asking about landscaping assistance. I was told to submit my dimensions of my yard/area to be landscaped via email, and they would contact me and set up an appointment to discuss plant materials and design, then I could decide if I wanted to do the work myself or hire them to install. I sent the email with contact info and never heard back.

Initially very prompt replies to inquiries. They were very delayed making the site visit for the estimate and no notification of the delay was given. The work was scheduled for a particular week, but they did not follow up by email to provide the exact date until I emailed them (well past when I was told I would hear from them.) The work was done quite well and we're happy with the result and the cost, but they have some communication issues.

I would highly recommend this business.

Excellent experience - would use them again! I was shopping for a tree just before Christmas and wasn't finding what I wanted at any of the big stores. I happened to find the Palm Harbor Nursery with the map on my phone. I was in such a hurry that day but they were wonderful at the nursery and they had exactly what I was looking for - a 7 ft Ligustrum. We returned to the nursery after the holidays and really had a chance to talk to them and look around. We had such a wonderful experience we decided to have them landscape a portion of the front yard. They took their time and worked with us showing us different plants and getting a feel for what we seemed to like. Then quickly drew up a design idea after reviewing a few pictures of the front of the house. It was exactly suited to us, our style and fit perfectly with the house and yard. We even decided a couple days before they were coming to call and ask them to add a Yellow Poinciana we had seen there to put in the middle of our yard. When they arrived at the house it could not have gone better. They arrived on time, were extremely courteous, removed all of the old plants (per our request), checked with me on placement of everything before it was planted, added fertilizer to the soil, and even made sure I was happy with the placement of the rocks in the border. They even went above and beyond and helped me with a sprinkler problem I had the night before. They cleaned up completely, including the walkway and the driveway. The price was exactly as quoted, there were no surprises or extra charges and their prices were reasonable. We are planning on asking them back to do more work on the rest of the yard.

They arrived on time, got to work, added soil, fertilizer and mulch to the new plants. They also watered them. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area looking better than when they arrived. We were so impressed that we called them two weeks later, to return with an additional 6 very large shrubs. They also removed a dead bush from the hedge. We are so impressed with the quality of the plant material and the workers, that we plan to have them back to landscape the whole large back yard.
